Chapter 58 - Speed of burning love part 15

At Shu-Yang's words, Jun-Yu let out a long sigh.

Jun-Yu: "Oh... for a moment, I was scared about what you were thinking. Look, my head is hurting. Explain to me a little why you are suspicious of me."

Shu-Yang: "Is that what you're suspicious about? I'm worried about your health. I've noticed for the past few days that you often have headaches. I don't think your headaches are normal."

Jun-Yu: "I've never thought about it that way."

Shu-Yang: "What do you mean you never thought about it? Then were you pretending to lose consciousness when Grandma made those accusations?"

There was a lot of accusation in Shu-Yang's words. As soon as Jun-Yu heard it, he became angry and said,

Jun-Yu: "Shu-Yang, watch what you're saying."

As Jun-Yu said this excitedly, his head suddenly started spinning again. Jun-Yu pressed his fingers against the veins in his head. After taking some time to steady himself, Jun-Yu said in a soft voice,

Jun-Yu: "Shu-Yang, you have police blood running through your veins, so it is natural for you to suspect everything. You can start an investigation against me."

As soon as Jun-Yu said this, Shu-Yang said in a gentle voice,

Shu-Yang: "I'm sorry. You're misunderstanding me. I'm only trying to make you understand why you didn't think about such an important matter."

Jun-Yu: "When I wake up, the pain starts, and during that time, it hurts a lot. Sometimes I feel like vomiting. Apart from that, I have this kind of pain more or less almost all the time. I thought it was a problem with migraines. That's why I didn't take the matter seriously."

Shu-Yang: "Have you ever seen someone lose consciousness from a migraine headache? Today, I clearly saw that as soon as Grandma made such a serious accusation against you, it immediately put pressure on your memory. And within such a short time, the intensity of your pain increased so much that you became weak while talking."

"I also noticed another thing. You conduct major research. You could remember all the research information sequentially. If someone told you something once, you could remember it exactly, as if you had memorized it. But today, you couldn't remember the murder of Shin-Yan at the bar that day. In reality, you had never even thought about killing anyone. Rather, you saved Shi-Han from the murder incident."

Jun-Yu: "That's true. I didn't realize that someone had twisted that incident and tried to portray me as the murderer in Grandma's eyes instead of Shi-Han."

Shu-Yang: "Forget all that. Tell me honestly, how long has this been happening to you? And have you ever forgotten anything before this?"

Jun-Yu: "Yes. Once, I wanted to go to my own apartment, but I ended up going to Shi-Han's apartment."

Shu-Yang: "That could happen normally, but have you ever lost consciousness before?"

Shu-Yang's questions were forcing Jun-Yu to think about himself today. Jun-Yu was stunned and worried. Before he could say anything, Shi-Han brought a bowl containing a kind of green herbal extract and began to speak,

Shi-Han: "Yes, Brother. Jun-Yu had lost consciousness several times before. Even when I first met Jun-Yu, I found him unconscious under the staircase on the third floor."

Shu-Yang: "Jun-Yu, you never thought it was necessary to tell us about such an important matter even once. After we return from the village, we will go see a neurologist."

Jun-Yu had truly never taken any of these matters seriously. Today, as he thought about everything, he broke down in deep fear and anxiety.

Jun-Yu: "Hey, Shu-Yang, please, brother, forget all this. I don't want to think about these things right now."

"Look, everything I had is already over. I came to the village to heal my broken heart. I want to return and start my research again. Brother, please don't make me think about all this right now."

Jun-Yu said these words in deep disappointment. Shu-Yang listened to everything and tried to understand why this was happening. But it was not possible to go to a doctor before morning. So, to ease Jun-Yu's worries at this moment, he said jokingly,

Shu-Yang: "Mr. Scientist, I see you're very foolish. Listen, every illness has a treatment, but if a problem isn't solved while it is still small, it becomes much harder to solve later. So, no problem should be considered small and left for the future to grow worse."

Shi-Han: "Alright, forget about all these worries for now. Jun-Yu, your headache is still there, right?"

Jun-Yu: "Yes, but it's a little less than before."

Shi-Han: "Here, take this herbal extract prepared from medicinal plants from the village. Drink this, eat your food, and get some sleep. You'll see, your headache will run away at helicopter speed."

Jun-Yu: "Huh? Now I have to drink this bitter extract? Shankchunni, if you have painkillers, then give me that medicine. I'll take it, but please don't force me to drink this."

As soon as Jun-Yu said this, Shi-Han puffed out her cheeks and said,

Shi-Han: "Mr. Zombie, I'm already very angry with you. But since you're sick, I'm not saying anything. Now, if you don't quietly drink this, then I'll have to show you some martial arts with great difficulty."

After saying this much, Shi-Han asked Shu-Yang,

Shi-Han: "Brother, will you watch me do martial arts?"

Shu-Yang silently smiled and nodded up and down.

Jun-Yu understood that he had to drink it now. But, making one last excuse for not drinking the extract, he tried to say,

Jun-Yu: "Miss Shankchunni, please, I don't want to drink this. When I was little, my mother used to make me drink a lot of herbal extracts, but I can't drink them... The smell of herbal extracts makes me feel sick..."

As soon as Jun-Yu said this much, Shi-Han quickly held the bowl between Jun-Yu's lips in such a way that she tried to make the entire extract go into his mouth. But when Jun-Yu glared at Shi-Han and thought about spitting out the extract, Shi-Han firmly held Jun-Yu's lips shut, trying to keep him from doing so.

Forced to do so, Jun-Yu drinks the herbal extract. Sugar had been mixed into it to reduce the bitterness of the extract. But Jun-Yu is still angry and calls the extract bitter,

Jun-Yu: "Ugh, what a disgusting thing, Shankchunni! I will definitely take revenge for this."

Shi-Han brings Jun-Yu some water from the table and says,

Shi-Han: "Fine, take your revenge, but drink some water now. It will make the effect of the extract feel a little less bitter. And come on, let's go eat. Xiao-Tong has probably finished setting the table."

As soon as Jun-Yu finishes drinking the herbal extract, Xiao-Lin steps away from beside the door. Seeing her move away, Shi-Han smiles lightly.

Her smile makes it clear that the herbal extract she brought had actually been prepared and sent for Jun-Yu by the elderly Xiao-Lin. But because of everything that happened earlier, she doesn't want to go in front of Jun-Yu.

★★★

Everyone was having breakfast in the morning. Jun-Yu was sitting on Xiao-Lin's left side, and Shi-Han was sitting on her right side. Shu-Yang was sitting on Jun-Yu's left side, with Xiao-Tong on his left, and Shi-Han beside her. In other words, they were all sitting around a round table, eating and discussing various things.

Xiao-Lin: "Xiao-Tong dear, do you like someone? Or are you dating anyone?"

Xiao-Tong stopped eating and began thinking about her breakup. After thinking for a while, she said,

Xiao-Tong: "Grandma, there are so many unfaithful people everywhere that I still haven't found anyone."

Xiao-Lin found an inconsistency in her words.

Xiao-Lin: "Dear, the world cannot go on without truth and lies, trust and distrust, and all these things. Even if someone breaks your trust, you should give yourself another chance."

Hearing her words, Xiao-Tong began to feel sad. In a serious but gentle voice, Xiao-Tong said,

Xiao-Tong: "If I get deceived again, how will I be able to accept everything, Grandma? Betrayal causes a person so much pain that it makes them feel as though the entire world and the very air they breathe have become poisonous."

Hearing Xiao-Tong's words, Xiao-Lin's suspicion became even stronger. She understood that Xiao-Tong had loved someone and been betrayed.

Xiao-Lin: "Dear, have you ever thought about whether a person can live alone? And how can you be so certain right now that you will be deceived again a second time?"

At the elderly woman's words, Xiao-Tong did not give any answer, but every word she said made Xiao-Tong think.

Jun-Yu, Shi-Han, and Shu-Yang stopped eating and listened to their conversation. Shi-Han put some food onto Xiao-Lin's plate.

Seeing that Xiao-Tong remained silent,

Xiao-Lin: "Shi-Han, do you think that what you all think is always right? And do you think that people who are older than you are always wrong compared to people your age?"

Shi-Han couldn't understand what Xiao-Lin was actually trying to make her understand. Shi-Han tried to smile lightly.

Shi-Han: "Grandma, from my observation, no one in this world is flawless. Children make a few more mistakes, I make a little fewer than them, and people older than us make even fewer mistakes."

Xiao-Lin: "Then think about everything from beginning to end and see if you made any mistakes anywhere."

Shi-Han couldn't understand what Xiao-Lin was actually trying to imply. Shi-Han thought for a while and then said,

Shi-Han: "Grandma, my mistake was trusting Chen-Yu and treating Jun-Yu badly without knowing the truth."

As soon as Shi-Han said this much, Jun-Yu began thinking about where his mistake was. While he was thinking, Xiao-Lin said,

Xiao-Lin: "Don't you have any other mistakes, dear?"

At the elderly woman's words, Shi-Han became even more lost in thought. Before she could say anything, Jun-Yu raised his hand and said,

Jun-Yu: "I made one mistake, Grandma. Can I say it?"

Xiao-Lin quietly sat there and looked at Jun-Yu after hearing his words.

Jun-Yu: "Actually, Grandma, I left home because I was angry with my father. At that time, Shi-Han brought me back home again without my knowledge. But I had decided that I would never return home again. So I left home again, but later I realized that whenever the family has problems, the family will be the ones standing by my side again. And I should also stay with my family. That's why I returned home by myself. But after returning home, I never said sorry to my father."

As soon as Jun-Yu said this much, he clenched one hand into a fist, placed his other hand over it, and continued,

Jun-Yu: "And Shi-Han, I'm sorry. Actually, I was angry with you because you brought me back home. That's why I was avoiding you. But after hearing Grandma's words, I can understand my mistake."

Shi-Han looked deeply at Jun-Yu. She gestured with her head to show that she had no complaints against Jun-Yu. She was simply glad that Jun-Yu had realized his mistake.

Answering Xiao-Lin's question, Shi-Han said,

Shi-Han: "Grandma, I know I have another big mistake. Even now, I feel that what I'm doing isn't right. Perhaps no child in this world does something like this. But I behave according to how what I see makes me feel. You know I'm trying."

Xiao-Lin: "Dear, isn't the truth perhaps that you have been made to see the situation in a bad way? Look, dear, I told Jian-Guo the same thing. But my son is simple and straightforward. He never thought deeply about my words. You're not foolish, are you? Won't you think about my words even once?"
