The students buzzed around like usual as jay-jay stood at the gates of the prestigious elite school of Philippines. "Wow. They really are dramatic, huh?" She thought to herself as there sticked an amused expression on her face. She walked in through the great, straightening her hair as she tried to look confident and she walked through like she belonged there.
She reached the fancy lobby which had chandeliers too. Fancy, right? She stood at the counter and asked with a smile "Hello, miss! Could u tell me Where's Section E?" The girl gave her a side eye "Ew, you're a secrion E? She said with a mean look. Jay-jay gave her a a confused look and walked away to the direction she gestured. The path was...interesting. When she reached the section E building, she was amused. Like, how bad could it be? It's just an old building with a broken board. Yeah, not so bad, right? Jay-jay went into the building and walked straight ahead. She saw a teacher in the corner, "Morning, sir! Is this the class of section E?" She asked with a polite smile. The teacher gave her an approving nod and smiled "Ahh! You must be miss jasper jean mariano!" Jay-jay smiled he already knows me. She thought internally and said "Yeah! I'm Jay-jay, the new transferee." The teacher gestured to a corner classroom, which sounded...chaotic. She went in anyway, and stopped at the door as she took in the scene.
The class had weird wall paintings and rowdy boys scattered around, yelling and fighting and doing literally everything but study. I cleared ny throat loudly, trying to get acknowledgement. One of the rowdy guys finally looked at me in irritation and burst out laughing "Boys, we have a new chickennn!" He yelled at everyone. All other boys finally looked at jay-jay and another one shouted Sarcastically to the first guy "Felix, let the poor girl go. They know better than to mess with us!" She rolled her eyes and just as sir alvin came, he clapped his hands while commanding attention and said "Alright section E. You have a new classmate, make her feel welcomed here. Miss mariano, please introduce urself." He said with an encouraging smile. Jay-jay nodded enthusiastically "Hello everyone. I'm Jasper Jean mariano and I'm a new transferee." She said, trying not to look too intimated. Sir alvin gestured to a seat and as she took a few steps ahead to sit, the boys put their bags, refusing her to sit. Jay-jay reluctantly sat on the first middle seat. She could tell that she wasn't wanted here but she went on anyways. As jay-jay turned to look behind, she saw a red haired guy sitting at the last seat with an empty seat next to him. He's Yuri Hanamitchi. He just gave her a bored look and looked away jay-jay bit her lip in annoyance and looked ahead.
The day carried on.
Then came the lunch break.
Jay-jay stretched in her seat "Finally foood!" She said to herself and the guys burst out laughing. Ci-N came to jay-jay, a short, kind of skinny guy. He didn't look their age but whatever. He said with a mischievous smile "Yo, we're banned from the cafeteria. You either bring ur own food or starve with us. That's what u get for being in section E. I think u should transfer sections, jay-jay right? She looked at him up and down and finally said "What kind of rebel thing did u even do to get banned?" Jay-jay looked horrified coz no food? How is she supposed to SURVIVE?! Ci-N chuckled. "Then just transfer sections" he said with a mock-wise tone. Jay-jay rolled her eyes so hard that it's a blessing they didn't pop out. She said "I just came here so I have nothing to do with it." And with that, she walked out towards the cafeteria.
At the cafeteria
Jay-jay walked in and the whispers like 'ew, she's a section E.' 'Heard keifer is away for a few days, she won't survive when he comes back' 'She's cute tho' or 'She's not even that pretty' followed again. Who even is this keifer? She thought to herself. Jay-jay went to the food counter and bought food. To be away from the judgmental looks, she started to walk back towards Section E building with her hands loaded with food. Just as, she saw Michael Aries Fernandez. Her cousin. Well, they don't really get along but still. Aries was a stern looking dark eyebrows guy which looked funny when he got mad. With him, there stood his girlfriend, Ella Dianne Hyun. Aries said with an annoyed tone "What are you doing here, jay? Jay-jay shrugged and said with a mock-sweet smile "I just came here to buy some clothes." Aries's eyebrows frowned in that funny way again and jay-jay pressed her lips together to stop herself from laughing. Ella looks at jay-jay with a disappointed look as if she personally offended her and said "I just met you but I didn't know u were this rebel." Jay-jay just gave a mock-smile and walked away to her section E building.
As she stepped into the building, it was all quiet. Nothing like the morning chaos. She quietly opened the class door and took a step in. Anddd BOOM! She tripped over a rope that was tied along the doorframe and fell down, all her food packages on the floor, and there stood The boys who laughed at her. "Wooo, you fell!" Felix said. "Ohh my god, is your ass okay?" Blaster said with mock-concern. Jay-jay glared at them and looked down at her food with annoyance "ugh! My food containers fell bcoz of you!" She yelled at them. The boys looked at the food and exchanged a look, they took the packed containers and scurried away, yuri following them while looking back at me with bored eyes. And with that, there was silence again, I sat at a desk, staring at the ceiling and munching an apple those snakes didn't see.
