Chapter 4 - Completed The Task Beyond Expectations

Lin Feng calmly popped open a can of Coke and said, nonchalantly, "Oh, I sent it. We said we'd squad up later, so I figured I'd gift each of my dorm bros a skin. Fatso, you've got one too — check it when you log in. That Chen Mo guy isn't here yet, so I'll give him his when he shows up."

"!!!"

Wang Hao and Zhu Dawei completely lost it.

What the hell kind of legendary roommate is this?!

First, free barbecue. Then rare skins?

They were so hyped they couldn't form proper sentences, blurting out "Holy crap!" and "Badass!" before exchanging a glance and nodding vigorously.

The next second, in perfect sync, they bowed ninety degrees toward Lin Feng and shouted in unison:

"Honored father, please accept your sons' respect!"

Right then, the system pinged in his head as expected.

[Ding! Mission "Brotherhood Bond" complete! Reward: 100 spirit stones!]

[Ding! Host exceeded expectations — recruited two loyal sons. Bonus reward: Core Point +1!]

Core Point: Can be used to upgrade skills or boost an attribute by one point.

A personal stats panel appeared before Lin Feng:

[Name]: Lin Feng

[Strength]: 73

[Agility]: 70

[Charisma]: 82 (can be increased via Yin-Yang Joyous Technique)

Note: Human max is 100!

[Available Core Points]: 3

[Joyous Union Skills]: Yin-Yang Joyous Technique Lv 1 — allows hearing the thoughts of corrupt maidens.

[Regular Skills]:

Literature: B Gaming: C Basketball: C Driving: D Singing: C Fighting: F Cooking: F

Below was a long list of D, E, and F‑rank skills, enough to make Lin Feng's eyes blur.

"Holy crap, I've got a stat screen?" He studied it closely.

Strength and agility in the low 70s meant he was a bit above average compared to regular guys, but nowhere near an athlete. Charisma 82 put him firmly in the "kinda handsome" category. The system's judgment seemed fair.

Seeing Fighting and Cooking both at F rank made the corner of his mouth twitch. Brutally honest — never been in a fight, and his cooking skill topped out at boiling water for instant noodles.

A new prompt appeared on the panel:

[Core Points can upgrade skill levels. Levels from high to low: SSS, SS, S, A, B, C, D, E, F.]

Upgrade F → E: 1 Core Point Upgrade E → D: 2 Core Points Upgrade D → C: 4 Core Points Upgrade C → B: 8 Core Points Upgrade B → A: 16 Core Points

"Got it — cost doubles each tier." Lin Feng instantly understood. Raising his B‑rank Literature talent to A would take a whopping 16 Core Points — not happening anytime soon. For now, nothing urgent to upgrade. He'd save them for later.

After filling their bellies, the dorm atmosphere was electric.

Wang Hao strapped on his headphones, pumped and back in the game battlefield. "Father, log on, I'll carry you!"

Zhu Dawei lounged with his phone, happily scrolling through mukbang videos, occasionally gasping, "Damn, that looks delicious!"

Lin Feng climbed into his bed, drew the curtain, and pulled out his phone. In the app store, he searched and downloaded [Mimi Social]. To avoid blowing his cover, he picked a flashy username — "Ferry Me, Not Her." Registered, logged in.

The homepage loaded — and Lin Feng's pupils shrank.

This wasn't a dating app — it was basically a modern brothel!

The screen was split into dozens of tiny windows, each showing a live-streaming beauty. Some wore skimpy yoga outfits, pulling off jaw-dropping stretches that showcased insane flexibility and killer curves. Others sat in gaming chairs in black stockings and miniskirts, skirts shifting with the camera, offering teasing glimpses.

Gift effects exploded across the screen amid coquettish "thank yous":

"Thank you, Dragon Bro, for the sports car! Wanna see me dance, Dragon Bro?"

"Top donor, you're awesome! Just drop another rocket and sis'll grant you any request today — anything goes!"

All kinds of suggestive lines paired with pouty, seductive expressions filled the air with a hormone‑charged vibe.

Sigh — this is good! He was legally an adult now, no need to hold back.

Watching the girls shake their booties and bounce their chests, his body tensed on instinct. He peeked out — Wang Hao was laser‑focused with headphones, Zhu Dawei drooling over his screen. Neither noticed a thing.

Lin Feng exhaled quietly and shifted into a comfier position.

[Ding! New mission unlocked!]

[Lure an immortal maiden and increase her "Corruption Value" by 20 points!]

[Reward: 200 spirit stones, Core Point +1!]

"Lure a maiden into corruption? Add 20 corruption points?" Lin Feng smirked at the prompt.

Yeah, the system was nuts, but this mission… was way too fitting. Plus, the rewards were juicy — 200 spirit stones equaled ¥20,000, plus a precious Core Point.

Without hesitation, he typed Su Qingwen's ID — "Little Raindrop" — into the search bar.

A profile popped up. Profile pic: a side shot of her standing by the sea, wind in her hair, sunset glow on her serene face — pure and artistic. It was definitely Su Qingwen.

But below her avatar, it said "Online" — though she wasn't streaming.

He tapped the private message button. Instant pop-up:

[This user has set a chat requirement. Your "Mimi Level" is too low to send messages.]

[Reach Mimi Level 4 to chat freely!]

He checked the level info: 1 yuan spent = 1 exp point. To hit LV 4, you needed to spend ¥10,000.

Wow. That filter was surgical — blocked all the freeloaders too broke to pay a cent. Only "small whales" who'd dropped over ¥10K could talk to her. Perfect target clientele.

Clearly, her idea of trading her body for a new phone wasn't a spur‑of‑the‑moment thing — she'd been sitting on it, hesitating to act. Or maybe… no rich guys had messaged her until now.
