Chapter 3 - THE GRANDMASTERS

"We are the Grandmasters, defenders of the Zeikuverse."

The seven figures seated upon their thrones looked down at the gathered students with calm expressions.

The Grandmaster of Faith slowly raised his head.

"We summoned you, young heroes, because we need your help."

The students immediately exchanged confused glances.

"Our help!?"

The Grandmaster of Faith nodded.

"Yes. You see, this verse is on the brink of collapse. In two years' time, a great evil will arise one that even we, the Grandmasters, cannot fully comprehend."

Reika Achigawa frowned and stepped forward.

"...Hold on."

He folded her arms.

"I don't understand. You said you're the defenders of the Zeikuverse. How is it that this 'great evil' can't be stopped by you? What are we going to do against something even you can't handle?"

The Grandmaster of Purity smiled faintly.

"Excellent question."

He folded his hands together before continuing.

"The truth is, we are guardians, not omnipotent saviors. The calamity approaching isn't something one or two of us could defeat. That is why you were chosen to become the next Defenders. We simply aren't strong enough ourselves"

Dranexx narrowed his eyes.

"What a load of BS."

He kept his expression neutral as he listened.

"They can fool everyone else, but not me"

His gaze drifted toward the Grandmasters.

"There's no such thing as a 'great evil' here... probably just some fabricated story"

A small smirk appeared on his face

"Hah! Fine. If it's going to cure my boredom, I'll play along, but still, as powerful as they are, it's hard for me to believe there's some great evil they can't handle."

His smirk widened slightly.

"But I will stay true to my hunch. I can never doubt myself."

Then he spoke out loud.

"Alright then. 'Great evil,' you say, huh?"

He tilted his head.

"So... what are our special powers to fight this so-called threat?"

His eyes wandered toward the rows of thrones.

"Also..."He pointed toward the empty seats.

"I only see seven of you here, but I count nineteen thrones. Where are the other twelve? Or are they just doing whatever they want?"

For the first time, the Grandmaster of Faith's expression stiffened.

"No... wait..."

Her eyes fixed on Dranexx.

"This boy has seen through our plans?"

A flicker of surprise crossed her face.

"That's... unusual."

"Normally, anyone summoned from the Other World must first receive blessings from a Grandmaster to gain powers but he already has them."

"How...?"

The Grandmaster of Purity looked at Dranexx.

"Dranexx, is it?"

"You're perceptive... but I'll explain."

"The other Grandmasters are already engaging the great evil they're more powerful than we are, but it wasn't enough."

He paused briefly.

"That's why we prepared to summon you."

His tone softened.

"I know it's against your will, but—"

"Quick question."

Dranexx suddenly interrupted.

"You guys aren't the originals, are you!?"

Several students froze.

Lisa's eyes widened.

"Dranexx!"

She immediately stepped forward.

"Be quiet!"

A nervous look appeared on her face.

"Interrupting a Grandmaster could come with... well... severe punishment."

She bowed respectfully.

"Let's at least hear them out first."

Then she glanced back at him before turning toward the Grandmasters.

"Please, pardon my companion's rudeness."

"Hah."

The Grandmaster of Celestial chuckled.

"I admire his courage, though I already dislike him."

Her gaze settled on Dranexx.

"But since he's among the summoned heroes, he stays for now."

Another Grandmaster slowly rose from his throne.

"I am the Grandmaster of Truth."

His calm gaze swept across the students.

"Everything my colleagues have said is true. We apologize again for summoning you against your will."

The atmosphere grew heavy.

"The truth is..." He paused briefly.

"Twenty of you were fated to die in a bus explosion."

The students froze.

"The bus you were on was already rigged by rival schools."

A moment of silence followed.

"SAY WHAT NOW!?"

The students erupted into panic.

Several stared at him in disbelief while others looked completely pale.

The Grandmaster of Truth simply nodded.

"Indeed."

His expression remained unchanged.

"We intervened and summoned you before your tragic end could occur."

Reika lowered his gaze.

"So..." He clenched his fists.

"There's no going back to the Other World, right?"

"Correct."

The answer came immediately.

Akube scratched the back of his head.

"Alright..."

He took a deep breath.

"So what's the plan now?" A grin appeared on his face.

"Do we get our blessings or special powers?"

The Grandmaster of Truth nodded.

"Step forward."

"Your soul will connect to the system, aligning across the verse hierarchy."

He raised a hand slightly.

"Then the Grandmaster whose essence aligns with your spirit will bless you."

Akube's eyes lit up.

"That's... aptitude, right?"

"Precisely."

A huge smile spread across Akube's face.

"Perfect."

He pumped his fist excitedly.

"Let's get this done. We've got a universe to save!"

Meanwhile, the Grandmaster of Truth continued observing Dranexx.

"This boy Dranexx..."

His eyes narrowed slightly.

"He's unusual."

"He's already received blessings from two Grandmasters and possesses the aptitude of all Grandmasters..."

A brief pause followed.

"Truly odd."

The Grandmaster of Celestial raised an eyebrow.

"Yh, that's strange..."

She glanced toward Dranexx.

"Who are the two Grandmasters that already blessed him...?!"

The Grandmaster of Truth shook his head.

"They're not around much."

His expression became thoughtful.

"I'm certain of that."

Akube's eyes widened.

"Wooo..."

He stared at Dranexx with admiration.

"Dranexx! He's amazing."

"To think he's already recognized by this world system..."

A bitter smile appeared on his face.

"I knew he was gifted, but having all the aptitudes of all Grandmasters?"

"That's just insane."

His shoulders slumped slightly.

"Man...I've got a long way to go before I can catch up to him."

His gaze lowered.

"Feels like I've been left behind..."

At that moment, Dranexx turned toward him.

A look of surprise appeared on his face.

"Hmmmm..."

He blinked.

"Why are you guys acting surprised...?"

The Grandmasters silently watched him.

"Well, you're certainly an interesting one, aren't you?"

Before Dranexx could react further A new presence suddenly appeared.

Several students immediately turned toward the source.

It was the Grandmaster of Judgement.

The moment he arrived, his eyes locked onto Dranexx.

"Hold on..."

His eyes widened.

"Wait, wait..."

He took another look.

"He has already obtained ultimate power?"

His voice carried obvious disbelief.

"Who are you...?"

Dranexx casually shrugged.

A smirk formed on his face.

"I'm just a guy who seeks entertainment."

His eyes gleamed.

"Right now, what I want is to dominate this world you summoned me to."

The Grandmaster of Judgement stared at him for a moment.

"Alright."

"I'll give you my blessings."

Then his expression suddenly changed.

"Wait, what?"

His eyes widened.

"You're rejecting my blessings?"

"Why...?"

Dranexx waved a hand dismissively.

"I don't need them."

"They'd just slow me down for my entertainment."

A grin spread across his face.

"I already accepted two blessings."

He glanced toward his classmates.

"I don't want to get too overpowered in front of my own classmates."

His grin widened.

"That would be cheating."

"Hahaha."

Akube immediately groaned. "Man, you're such a pain!"

He pointed at Dranexx.

"Accept it, you dumbass."

"Who cares what anyone else thinks?"

The Grandmaster of Celestial looked toward Akube.

"Hmmm..."

"Akube, right?"

"It looks like you have the aptitude of Celestial."

A faint smile appeared on her face.

"I give you my blessings."

Akube's eyes widened.

"Really!?"

The Grandmaster of Judgement nodded.

"Wow...You've got one of the most powerful Grandmaster blessings."

"Impressive."

Akube looked completely stunned.

The Grandmaster of Celestial continued.

"Use it well."

Her gaze shifted toward Dranexx.

"One day, you might surpass your friend there..."

Her expression hardened.

"He may have all the aptitudes of the Grandmasters, but I'll never give him my blessings."

Dranexx immediately burst out laughing.

"Hahaha..."He shook his head.

"Like I ever wanted that weak power."His eyes met the Grandmaster's.

"You're nothing compared to the two Grandmasters who blessed me."

A confident grin appeared on his face.

"Am I wrong!?"

The Grandmaster of Celestial's expression darkened.

"Watch your mouth, mortal."

Her voice carried a warning.

"You're in the presence of a being who can erase your very existence..."

His eyes narrowed.

"Don't push me."

Dranexx laughed again "Hahaha."

"Don't make me laugh."

His grin remained unchanged.

"You actually believe you could erase me?"He pointed at himself.

"Check again."

His gaze sharpened.

"I've far exceeded those limits..."

He folded his arms.

"Like I will be scared of those words."

The atmosphere instantly became tense.

A harmonious aura began to pour from Dranexx's body.

Hidden beneath it was killing intent.

Several students felt the pressure immediately.

The Grandmaster of Truth remained calm.

"That's not nearly enough to intimidate us, human."

Akube quickly stepped forward.

"Hey buddy..."

A nervous smile appeared on his face.

"Cool down."

He raised both hands.

"Let's just get out of here..."

Then he bowed toward the Grandmasters.

"Once again, I'm sorry on behalf of my friend."

"Please forgive him."

The Grandmaster of Truth sighed.

"Well..."

"You guys can go."

"Everyone has received their blessings."

As the students prepared to leave, Lisa continued watching Dranexx.

"Honestly, Dranexx..."Her expression softened.

"What's wrong with you?"She quietly observed him.

"I've never seen him act like this before..."Her eyes narrowed slightly.

"He's usually so calm and demure, even at school."A conflicted look appeared on her face.

"But today..."

She looked at him again.

"I saw a completely different side of him."

Just as the students began preparing to leave, Dranexx suddenly raised his hand.

His expression remained calm "Dimensional Break... Collapse."

CRACK.

A sharp sound echoed throughout the Heavenly Palace.

In an instant, a crack tore through space itself.

Several students gasped and instinctively stepped back.

A passageway opened inside the Heavenly Palace. The dimensional crack continued to distort the surrounding space as it remained suspended before everyone.

The students stared at the phenomenon with disbelief.

Even some of the Grandmasters narrowed their eyes slightly.

With Dimensional Break/Collapse, Dranexx can travel across dimensions freely without limits.

At the same time, his mere aura can shatter the laws governing reality.

Space bends.

Concepts tremble.

Even divine order destabilizes in his presence.

Looking at it...

It's strange.

Dranexx is truly abnormal.

From the very first moment he appeared in this world, he already possessed power rivaling most of the Grandmasters.

And not long after, he awakened two Ultimate Abilities:

THE WORLD OF CAVALRY

AUTHORITY OVER RUIN

These two abilities are completely broken.

They grant him access to:

• Law Manipulation

• Fate Manipulation

• Reality Warping

• Pure Magic Erasure

• Space-Time Domination

• Extreme Physical Attack Resistance

AUTHORITY OVER RUIN

The ability to erase all forms of magic, devour skills, and overwrite reality itself.

WORLD OF CAVALRY

An ability that grants him access to conceptual weapons manifestations of every ability that has ever existed, both known and unknown.

He doesn't just copy powers...

He wields them as weapons.

However, no one can control these weapons without near-limitless energy.

Its core aspects include:

• Concept Manifestation

• Ability Weaponization

• Meta-Ability Arsenal Access

Of course...He kept this hidden.Even from the Grandmasters who blessed him.Because he didn't receive this ability from them.

He awakened it on his own.Born from his desire for entertainment...The very moment he was summoned into this verse.
