Chapter - 1: The Old Man Under the Banyan Tree
In a small village near the river Ganga, there lived an old man named Dada Kareem. His hair was white like cotton, and his face had deep lines like the cracks in dry soil. But his eyes still shone brightly — full of stories.
Every evening, his three grandchildren — Ayaan, Sara, and Imran — sat around him under the old banyan tree.
"Dada," Ayaan asked one day,
"Did you see history happen?"
Dada Kareem smiled.
"Beta, history is not only in books. It lives in people."
That evening, he began telling them a story from long ago — when India was fighting for freedom.
