Isabela woke up as her alarm clock rang. She rubbed the sleep from her eyes and sat up slowly, the faint morning light slipping through the curtains. She looked at herself in the mirror across the room. For a moment, she just stared. The messy hair, the tired eyes, the quiet stillness of the morning it all felt strangely different today.
Then everything started to sink in.
Isabela didn't expect that her long-time idol was Theodore. Her thoughts were suddenly interrupted by the soft buzz of her phone on the bedside table.
She blinked, snapping back to reality.
A new message.
Her heart skipped a beat when she saw the name on the screen.
Theo.
For a second, she hesitated before picking up the phone, her fingers hovering over the notification. What could he possibly want to say?
Taking a deep breath, Isabela opened the message.
"I'm sorry that I wasn't completely honest with you about what happened last night."
Theo is popular, and no one has ever seen his face except his staff and Isabela he wanted was to live like a normal student. Singing has always been his passion and one of his greatest dreams. Isabela didn't reply. She took a bath and got ready for school. Now, she's wondering how she can face Theodore.
'' Sweetheart you're leaving already?'' Her father asked.
'' Yes Dad , Lindsay is already outside'' Isabela replied.
As they made their way to school, Lindsay finally asked Isabela where she had been the night before. When Isabela told her everything, Lindsay stopped in her tracks, her eyes widening in disbelief. She could hardly process the words she had just heard. The revelation struck her like lightning Theodore and Theo were the same person.
"You're so lucky," Lindsay said, her smile widening with excitement. "The one who's asking to court you is your longtime crush."
"I really can't explain what I feel," Isabela admitted, her heart still racing from everything that happened.
When Isabela arrived in their classroom, Theodore was nowhere to be seen. As she stepped inside, she noticed her classmates whispering and glancing behind her. Confused, she slowly turned around. There he was,Theodore standing by the door, smiling warmly at her. "Good morning," he greeted, his eyes fixed on hers.
" Good morning," she replied, trying to hide the sudden nervousness in her voice.
Isabela slowly took her seat, her heart beating faster than usual. The realization that Theodore was sitting right beside her made her feel strangely uncomfortable. After class, Theodore quietly handed her a piece of paper. There was a small note written on it.
"Meet me on the rooftop after class. There's something I want to tell you."
After reading the note, she wondered if she should go or just ignore it.After class, she texted Lindsay that she couldn't go home with her. She slowly made her way to the rooftop. When she arrived, Theodore was already there, quietly waiting for her. They greeted each other and couldn't help but smile when they both started speaking at the same time.
"You know, I still can't believe it," Isabela said, looking at him. "The person I've admired for so long… was you all along."
"Aside from my assistant, you're the only person who knows me as Theo," Theodore admitted.
Isabela frowned slightly, confused by what he meant. "Why are you hiding?" she asked.
"Family reasons. I just don't want to talk about it," Theodore replied.
Isabela decided to stop asking about it. Soon, they found themselves talking about their lives and sharing stories. Before they knew it, almost an hour had already passed.
"I should get going. It's already late," Isabela said.
"I can bring you home," Theodore insisted.
Isabela slowly nodded, agreeing without saying another word. Deep inside, though, her heart was filled with happiness. She was finally walking beside the person she had admired for such a long time. When they arrived at Isabela's house, Isabela thanked Theodore and said goodbye before going inside. What she didn't know was that her father had been watching them through the window.
"So… who's that guy who sent you home?" her father asked with a teasing smile. "Is he your boyfriend, sweetheart?"
"Dad, he's just my classmate, and I don't have a boyfriend," she replied with a smile before heading to her bedroom.
Isabela lay down on her bed, letting out a tired sigh. It had been a long and unforgettable day. After a moment, she picked up her phone and decided to text Theodore.
"Thanks for sending me home today. Take care," she texted.
She changed her clothes and started reading a book. After a couple of minutes, she received a reply from Theodore saying that he was already home.It had been an unforgettable day for Isabela. She never expected that something like this would happen to her. After all this time, she had finally encountered the person she had admired for so long.
