Chapter 94 - 96

(Greek Mythology) The Abyss of the Underworld

Chapter Ninety-Six

The Demon King, with long black hair and dark purple eyes, slowly walked towards the palace gates, but stopped abruptly as he approached, sensing an unfamiliar fluctuation of power.

A stranger was in Orsia's palace?

His vigilance immediately rose to its highest level. Entering the deepest part of Hell undetected should have been impossible, yet it had indeed happened, which could not help but make him alert.

He quickened his pace and entered the palace. Upon seeing the situation inside, Lucifer was startled. His gaze towards the unconscious Orsia instantly turned icy.

"Who are you? Could you please put Orsia down?" Although his dark purple eyes were like ice, a smile that could be described as gentle appeared on his face. But if other demons or fallen angels saw this smile, their legs would probably go weak.

Their Satan was angry, and his rage was boundless!

Holding Amy, Tartarus merely glanced at Lucifer before ignoring him completely. An invisible spatial ripple spread, swiftly pinpointing the coordinates of the Greek mythological world.

If all goes as expected, Orseya is Amy's current name. Although displeased, Tartarus didn't intend to do anything now; it was better to keep a low profile in other worlds.

"No, no, no, Your Majesty Tartarus, your blatant ignoring will only infuriate me more."

"Heh, you think you can just leave after taking someone from Hell? Don't you think you're taking Hell too lightly?" Lucifer sneered at Tartarus, who was completely ignoring him, and directly sealed off the entire space of Hell.

The other members of the Seven Deadly Sins sensed the change in Hell and immediately dropped what they were doing, rushing towards Lucifer's location at full speed.

Ding!!!

A crisp metallic clang rang out, and an ancient, exquisitely crafted mirror suddenly appeared, floating in mid-air to block Lucifer's attack. The power imbued with the sword was instantly absorbed, or rather, devoured, by the mirror, with only a small amount dissipating, creating a shockwave that damaged the exquisite decorations in the hall.

"How could I not take Hell seriously..." Tartarus sighed softly, controlling the Mirror of Life to block the attack, his nonchalant tone concealing a barely perceptible seriousness.

Anyone could deny Hell, but Tartarus would not. Even the most indifferent person couldn't be indifferent to the place he had created. If he, as its creator, didn't acknowledge this place, who else would?

"I just don't take this Hell seriously," he added quietly, his detached expression contrasting sharply with his extremely provocative words.

Why should he care about Hell if it's not his Hell? He didn't despise this Hell for being shameful only because they shared the same name.

The newly arrived rulers of Hell overheard this remark at the perfect moment, a dramatic twist that successfully ignited the fury of everyone present except Tartarus. (The unconscious Amy is not included in this count.)

Unlike the gods of the underworld in Greek mythology, who were completely indifferent to the outside world's rejection and hatred of Hell, even taking pleasure in the fear of outsiders, the inhabitants of Hell, especially the fallen angels, detest anyone who disrespects them due to the long-standing enmity between Heaven and Hell and some historical legacies.

In the future, with more experience and deeper experience, they might be able to remain calm, but having recently fallen from grace, they are still in a state of high alert, easily triggered. Coupled with Tartarus's apparent kidnapping of Amy, he had essentially stepped on the fuse.

Thus, Tartarus was unsurprisingly surrounded and attacked, his movements restricted by carrying Amy.

Fortunately, their concerns about injuring Ai Miye held them back, and the restriction on their movements had little impact on Tartarus.

Tartarus's martial arts skills were decent, but only decent. Aside from a sparring match with his two brothers that turned out to be a one-sided beating, he had almost no opportunities to gain real combat experience, and no god dared to fight him in a real fight.

Therefore, Tartarus was essentially a pure mage. The restriction on his movements had little impact on his combat power, at least much less than others. And Tartarus was clearly not the type to recklessly engage in close combat.

As a large amount of divine power was injected, the mirror emitted a soft white light. Before the group could intervene, the light suddenly intensified, enveloping them completely and trapping them in an illusion.

Tartarus only wanted to take Amy Night away; he didn't intend to actually fight them. Therefore, an illusion was the best way to trap them, and having maintained illusions for his training in the Underworld for many years, Tartarus was quite skilled in this area.

Thanks to the opposition of the dark and light attributes, the fallen angels, having just switched attributes, were already quite capable of adjusting their powers; wielding them freely was impossible, and their full strength couldn't be unleashed. They were successfully trapped in the illusion.

As for Lucifer, who should have been ahead of the fallen angels…

Sorry, his situation was different. Besides the attribute conversion, he also needed to adapt to the transformation from spiritual power to divine power after his ascension to godhood. Even with Lucifer's exceptional talent, in such a short time, he had only just adapted to his current power; further understanding of the laws and control over Hell was out of the question.

Although they were trapped, Tartarus wasn't in his own original world, so his power was suppressed. He couldn't trap them for long, and Lucifer's act of sealing off the entire space of Hell was still a major problem.

A domain is something very useful to its owner but very troublesome to others. It not only suppresses the power of others, but also prevents the use of any methods of teleportation, instantaneous movement, or spatial manipulation without breaking the seal. Lucifer's full-force seal would be troublesome even for Jehovah.

At this moment, one must be grateful that Amy is in Hell rather than Heaven. Although they are different worlds, they are both called Hell, and thus share some similarities. For Tartarus, who once created Hell, while vying for control of Hell with Lucifer is extremely difficult, breaking through Lucifer's seal is not difficult.

After all, Lucifer's current control over Hell is utterly pathetic. ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭

Adjusting his posture and holding Amy in one arm, Tartarus deftly drew a line in the air with his free hand. Where his seemingly delicate fingertips traced the line, a dark, shadowy mark appeared, quickly expanding into a passage large enough for one person to pass through.

"Gentlemen, farewell forever." His pale, thin lips, devoid of much color, uttered these words softly. Tartarus, his expression detached and his demeanor elegant throughout, even politely bid farewell at the end. Before Lucifer, who had just escaped the illusion, he calmly stepped into the spatial passage, taking Ai Miye with him as they departed this world.

Honestly, Your Majesty Tartarus, your ability to stir up hatred has really improved!
