Chapter 121 - teasing

Chapter: Teasing the Horoscope – Jay's POV

The afternoon sunlight filtered through the curtains of Kuya Angelo's living room.

Keif was sitting beside me on the couch, casual, relaxed, like he owned every inch of the space.

I could feel the warmth of his arm brushing against mine.

Aries, of course, was right next to me on the other side, acting as if nothing unusual was happening, even though we all knew he was ready to explode at any moment.

"I still can't believe you let Jay get away with all that chaos earlier," he muttered, shaking his head.

I turned to him with a sly smile.

"Maybe I like chaos," I said softly, leaning slightly closer to Keif.

Keif smirked at me, his eyes sparkling.

"Definitely my kind of chaos," he whispered, brushing a loose strand of hair from my face.

Aries groaned dramatically.

"You two are impossible!" he said, throwing his hands up.

I winked at him.

"Impossible? Oh, Horoscope, you should know by now—you predicted this chaos perfectly."

He froze, jaw dropping slightly.

I leaned even closer to Keif, whispering softly, "Maybe you want to help me teach him a lesson?"

Keif chuckled low, his arm tightening slightly around my shoulder.

"Absolutely," he murmured.

We exchanged a glance that was enough.

Aries didn't notice at first—too busy muttering complaints under his breath—but then the door opened.

Ella.

Aries's girlfriend.

Her presence immediately caught his attention.

"Jay! Keif!" he said quickly, almost like trying to reset the universe.

I just grinned, leaning into Keif as if she wasn't even there.

Keif smirked, his eyes flicking between me and Aries.

"Ah… Horoscope," he said softly. "You look tense. Maybe we can help you relax?"

I giggled, nudging him.

"Yes," I whispered, "you're way too stiff. Let us loosen you up a little."

Aries froze.

"Wait—what?" he asked, eyes wide.

I leaned back, pretending to casually rest my head on Keif's shoulder.

"See?" I said softly. "Relaxed. Isn't this better?"

Keif grinned, wrapping an arm comfortably around my shoulders, pulling me just a little closer.

Aries sputtered.

Ella watched, tilting her head, clearly amused but also slightly confused by the display.

I looked at her and winked.

"Don't worry," I said softly, "we're just teaching him a lesson in humility."

Keif smirked and whispered into my ear, "Ready for the next phase?"

"Always," I whispered back.

I nudged Aries gently with my elbow, pretending to be sweet.

"Horoscope," I said lightly, "maybe you should take a deep breath. Christmas chaos is nothing compared to this."

His face turned red.

"Jay!" he shouted, half embarrassed, half furious.

I leaned closer to Keif again.

"See?" I said softly. "We're very gentle. Just teasing."

Keif laughed, low and amused, and I could feel him pressing slightly against me, enough to make my heart skip a beat.

Aries groaned loudly, throwing his head back.

Ella bit her lip, trying not to laugh.

I whispered to Keif, "They're so predictable."

"And so much fun," he replied softly, tightening his hold just a fraction.

I leaned my head on his shoulder, smirking at Aries.

"Horoscope," I said, "don't hate us for having a little fun."

He groaned.

"I'm not hating… I'm just… suffering," he said, giving up completely.

Keif chuckled, brushing my hair back with a casual flick.

"Relax," he said softly. "You'll survive this… probably."

I grinned at him, enjoying every second of our little game.

Even with Aries sputtering beside me and Ella watching curiously, I felt completely safe.

Completely happy.

Completely in my element.

Because teasing a Horoscope with Keif by my side? That was pure Christmas magic.

And I wasn't stopping anytime soon.
