Vikram sensed someone peeking at them and immediately rushed to the small hill behind Yu Cheng's body.
Divya and Ron followed closely behind.
When Vikram saw only an empty, snow-covered patch of grass, a hint of confusion appeared on his face.
The snow was completely flat, with no footprints.
"Did I sense wrong?"
Divya seemed to notice something and looked up.
"No. Although there are no footprints, someone was definitely here not long ago."
Divya pointed at a tree trunk on the hill.
Following her finger, they indeed found some mud residue on the tree trunk above.
Ron had already circled the area and found no footprints. He said uncertainly, "That's not right either. In this weather, as long as he's walking, no matter how fast he is, it's impossible for him to leave no footprints."
"Could it not be a person, but some kind of bird scouting for information?"
