"Axel, listen. This is the last time I'm pretending to be your girlfriend. If Tyler saw us walking around Manhattan holding hands, he'd lose it. And honestly, I couldn't even blame him. I'd be pissed too if I saw my boyfriend with another girl right after he told me he loved me," Naomi grumbles, clearly annoyed. "Just tell Kimberly we broke up. Besides, I don't get why you're dragging this out. The bet's over, and you were the one who said you didn't want anything serious with her."
Naomi and I are sitting on a bench in Times Square, waiting for Kimberly to show up for another date.
"Wow... thanks. Some best friend you are..." I mutter.
"If I wasn't your best friend, I wouldn't even be here with you, idiot! But there's a limit, Axel. There's a huge difference between being best friends, always being there for each other, hanging out, getting high, getting drunk at my place... and expecting us to keep having sex now that I have a boyfriend!"
