It's a peaceful morning like any other, and Hakuto, still half-asleep, is leisurely enjoying his breakfast.
The rest of the extended family is gathered around the table with him.
Silence reigns over the dining room when, all of a sudden, Chantal shoots to her feet.
"I have wonderful news to share with all of you!"
Everyone turns to her curiously.
Once she's sure she has everyone's attention, she continues.
"Hakuto and I have decided to seal our love once and for all by getting married!"
At those words, Irina spits out the milk she was drinking, while Claire nearly chokes on her croissant.
Only Shin and Kagura seem genuinely happy about the news.
"You and I are... WHAT?!" Hakuto blurts out, the last one to process her words through his sleepiness.
Chantal shoots him a murderous glare.
"Don't play dumb! After what happened between us last night, you need to take responsibility! What kind of man are you?!"
"What exactly happened between you two last night...?" Claire asks.
