### **"The Girl Who Sat by the Window"**

In a small town near the sea, there lived a quiet girl named Anaya. Every evening, she would sit by the café window, reading novels and watching the sunset paint the sky orange and pink.

One day, a boy named Arjun walked into the café. He wasn't from the town. He had just moved there after leaving the busy life of the city behind. Tired, curious, and a little lost — that's how he felt.

When Arjun first saw Anaya, she was tucking a strand of hair behind her ear, completely lost in her book. The golden light from the sunset fell softly on her face. For a moment, he forgot why he had come in.

The next day, he came again.

And the next.

At first, they only exchanged shy smiles. Then one rainy evening, when the café was nearly empty, Arjun gathered the courage to speak.

"Is the book more interesting than the rain?" he asked nervously.

Anaya looked up, surprised — then smiled. "Not anymore."

That was how it began.

They started talking about everything — favorite songs, childhood dreams, fears, and silly memories. Arjun loved how Anaya listened carefully before speaking. Anaya loved how Arjun laughed like he had no worries in the world.

Days turned into weeks.

Arjun began waiting for 5 PM every day — just to see her sitting by the window. Anaya started pretending to read — just to see if he would come.

One evening, the sunset was brighter than usual. The sky looked like it was celebrating something.

"Why did you move here?" Anaya finally asked.

Arjun looked at the horizon. "I was searching for peace," he said softly. Then he looked at her. "I think I found it."

Her heart skipped.

The wind blew gently through the open window, carrying the scent of rain and sea salt.

And in that quiet little café, under a sky painted with love, two hearts decided they didn't want to be strangers anymore.

Sometimes love doesn't arrive loudly.

Sometimes it walks in, sits across from you, and smiles. 💖
