Yuche didn't wait for permission to do what he had wanted to do since he put Rouxi on the couch for the first time.
The second Lingyun turned toward the front door, ready to carry out their woman's orders, Yuche slid one arm beneath Rouxi's knees and the other behind her back before lifting her off the couch and back into his arms.
Rouxi immediately frowned, a cute wrinkle appearing between her brows as she glared at him. "I can walk you know," she hissed silently, but Yuche only shook his head.
"No," he said, his voice coming out harsher than he intended it to. But she had taken at least ten years off his life with that leg of hers. "You might be able to walk, but I can't let you. Not until I am sure that your..."
His voice trailed off, but Rouxi simply relaxed against his chest like he didn't have to explain anything more.
"Then carry on," she said, her nose up in the air as she waved toward the front door. "Today's entertainment awaits."
