Jake Ferguson had probably one of the lives that many people would have, a living embodiment of a '2nd chance' his parents called him a 'miracle baby'. despite that cringy name, his accomplishments were not to be scoffed at, born or gifted with a fast learning skill and a sponge brain, his school tenure was something straight out of a fantasy, and with being the valedictorian of his class... yeah he's getting carried away with those thoughts.
It's practically the only thing he can do since he's about to die ridiculously, who dies by a rooftop collapse in Costco? With a loaded resume of life at that? Truly sorry.
But he is powerless to do anything, as the debris reaches towards his head. His final words were...

Waking up with wide eyes immediately, Jake finds that he's sitting in some grassy plains, a forest seems to be visible and a very convenient trail is in distance.
"This is definitely not my world."
It may have been a godsend for him but it looked like he was given a second chance. All those knowledge from webnovels he reads time to time will be put to use! But he's really confused as to which world he transmigrated in. Though he can definitely say this is some cartoon world.
"The colors stand out too much", that was somewhat the only speech he could make, other than that he just felt a bit laziness to talk. Finally fully getting up he can finally see a greater view of his surroundings.
Still the same picture as when he was sitting up, just now he can see a singular tall mountain sticking up like a sore thumb. And some sort of civilization as there is a town not far from here. Probably a couple minutes away with 2 digits at that. But he feels a little despair as this town appears something out of the medieval ages.
"Shit, don't tell me this is bohemia..." a nervous sweat breaks out of his forehead. Or it's the heat of the sun doing it, either way the information he gathered so far while walking around was jack shit.
"Still a nice place to have a home here.", as some minutes go by, he starts to develop the one thing that Humans just can't ignore, the feeling of hunger.
*gurgle*
"Ah hijo de puta why get hungry now body!"
A little bit of furatration and helplessness arises as he's nearing town. He uses this opportunity of desperation he doesn't see as fuel to walk faster to the town. Maybe there can be some water and some food while he's at it. Wait how will he talk to these villagers? Or what currency do they take?
He ignores those rational thoughts as he's already made up his mind. He needs food and rest!
Finally the town's appearance gets closer and closer.

Roseluck was having a slow day so far in her shop, but she still has her passion for being a florist as it's her destiny! Her cutie mark can back this up!

Daisy and Lily are out in the market to getting more supplies, so she's left here alone. Just praying to Celestia they make a sell this day to not oversupply too much.

With a sigh as she appeared she already made up her mind, suddenly the door opens and like instantly with some physics that doesn't appear on earth. She quickly prepares everything so that the new customer can buy some flowers!

A tall bipedal creature towers inside the shop, looking right at her. It's standing still yet the atmosphere is scary!
"Oh the horror, the HORROR!" She screamed before she fainted.

Is all he can say after witnessing the scene. Firstly he saw this building to which he was drawn to it, looked like a florist shop which he thought they may be friendly people running this place. He was right though but at the moment hell no.
Got inside and instead of a human running this place it was a.... small Technicolored Horse, with huge eyes! and it talked! Worse news is that his ears hurt a little due to her scream of some 'horror'. But well they talk english... how do they speak the same language?
Putting those thoughts aside he just crouches in front of the fainted little horse.
"I wonder what you feel like?"
Maybe some curiosity got to him but he tried to feel this little horse's fur!
Just as he was about to touch, the door opens which featured 2 more miniature horses, with a more ridiculous colored coat too. and well... an eye contact later and they scream too.
'Damm these animals scream loud!'
Either way he hoped that they would faint as his ears would be able to breath! But to no avail, He leaves the shop quickly intending to dodge these 2 horses since they were kind of blocking the way.
This action made them run away from the shop which actually was a great thing for him. But this noise is definitely going to attract unwanted attention, still he hoped as since they talked English. There must be some humans around here that it's all a misunderstanding, but he couldn't shake that nagging feeling of the first mini horse fainting at the sight of him. No way there aren't any humans... right?
Now outside of the shop he sees... more horses, with even more bright colors and massive eyes! All on Jake Ferguson.
"RUN!", "THE HORROR!", "MONSTER!", Ma is that gonna eat us?", "OUR LIVES ARE IN DANGER!"
in simultaneously fashion, they all run, panic, and hide in their cottages or buildings. And really quick too.
Soon the place became a ghost town in like a minute he thought, this was a little second hand embarrassment for him. He's no monster, he's just trying to find some food and shelter... but well he finally has to come to his senses, there are no humans!
"Well looks like I'm alone in this world." Fighting to not shed a tear, he instead tries to find something valuable in this town instead as the netizens aren't helping him. guess looting while they are seemingly hiding is a good thing. Like a discount all 100% off!
Seeing as what he's about to do is a good thing, his mood brightens up! But eventually he encounters a problem as when he turns around he sees 6 colorful mini horses marching towards his direction.
'Are they law enforcement?'
The bravery on these horses minus the one with the light pink mane and yellow coat look very determined to resolve their problem aka him.
He doesn't like that weird look of the purple one, the bright pink one looks very joyful which... feels wrong, the rest all look like they want to pummel him to the ground or something like that. The hostility is actually rising! Bad news!
"Uhhh Wait wait wait! I come in pea-" before he said anything a blue blur shot before him and tackled him to the ground, then a rope got his legs and he was then levitating around some purple aura. Is that magic?
Finally looking at these equines more clearly he sees... unicorns and Pegasi? What world is he on?
"Girls wait be more gentle he just talked!"
The purple unicorn which oddly sounded like raven from teen titans spoke out like a group leader as the rest of this group seemed too listen to her.
"So you said you come in peace?"
"Uhm yes I did" as he spoke, some of them gasped as it looks like the creature before them talked more clearly now!
"Well girls you can fully go of him now, he doesn't look hostile."
He internally screamed 'yes' as now he's not hogtied like an outlaw. The rainbow and the cowboy one still look very stern but they seemed to calm down, what a ridiculous world this is so far.
"I don't know twi, he caused the citizens to hide."
"And I heard he eats ponies for breakfast!"
A raspy and bubbly voice spoke out which sounded like he was a bad guy, he isn't he swears!
"This isn't a repeat of the Zecora incident girls..."
He noticed that after 'twi' said this they deflated a bit.
"So that's your name? Is it Twi?" To find a sense of a connection so that he can live or have food and a place to stay he speaks out, seems as he finally found a friendly in this world.
"It's a nickname... oh you want introductions, ahem. I'm twilight sparkle and you?"
She looked a little startled when he said her nickname but shakes that off. And so introductions were made.
Oh it's his turn now, welp all for some food and shelter!

"So yeah that's what basically went for my first day in equestria.", He spoke to spike as they talked while drinking some chamomile tea.
Spike grinned as he spoke "So are you sure you don't eat ponies for breakfast?"
"I swear I don't eat ponies!"
It has been one week and 3 days since his arrival in this world and after Twilight took him under her roof, He got his wish. He has some food and shelter. Plus getting along with some of the netizens was hard but they always say time fixes all wounds. And the town has warmed up to him some way.
Though he'd get a letter from the flower trio to pay some reparations of 'emotionally damaging their emotions' which was kind of stupid. But then again, it's ponyville. Always some crazy shit happening.
But referring to the letter, there is a key word here which is 'pay' meaning there is currency to which after staying in the golden oaks library. The currency is Bits which is golden coins. Odd name for it but it's gold, in his hands! This is worth a lot back in his home. And yet 2 bits of those get you an apple cider in this world.
Though it's weird how this world's currency works, like it's gold and yet after doing calculations especially with the example of 2 bits buying you an apple cider, and with the value of the US dollar, the bit is worth about 86 cents if there is such a thing for the exchange rate.
It's a somewhat strong currency, Pretty good.
He stays in the library but it's more of the shelter. Helps around the place and has a weekly allowance which consist of around 900 bits, he's truly grateful that he stays with twilight as she gets a really good paying job for basically being a librarian.
But he got suspicious as librarians don't get paid as much as she does and did some digging, which meant asking questions
Then he found out the reason is that she's the princesses personal student. So literally close to royalty? The connections are very much needed!
And magic exists too.... just a side note
Anyways he's getting side tracked.
He also discovered that there are so many goods, fun things to do, amazing places to live, just a world of exploration!
Sad thing is that in order to live that comfortable life he needs to get rich.
The jobs he was offered were not in his taste, well more like he was lazy.
No way he's working at sweet apple acres, applejack offered that Job as a 'we can all use a helping hoof' that's cheap labor if he ever seen one!
And some other jobs that were literally physical work, mostly because he's a tall guy and somewhat strong, but not as strong as earth ponies... ahh who is he kidding, he's got good strength. remember that blessed physique?
'Enough with the side chatter! I need to get rich and fast! I'm young and I want to pursue wealth right now before it will be too late and die an old man in a lame way!'
"But what should I do?"
How can he make money fast, how can he make money fast? Think Jake think! These ponies can be gullible some times, what would make them buy-
"That's it!" Like a lightbulb showing on top of his head he realizes that he will try to be a smooth conartist, but it's all for a good cause really.
'That's generous cause is filling up my pockets!'
"Would the elements be angry about this though?"
After some thought he shrugged.
"Eh they forgave me, besides they're kind to me, of course they'll understand!"
And the human just kept walking to his destination.
