"Get away from me!," a boy fearfully yelled as he sped through the rough forest terrain.
Slowly walking menacingly, was a strange humanoid creature with faint glowing cracks all over it.
The boy looked back and saw that he had gained some distance between him and the creature. He stopped to catch his breath because he had been running for quite awhile.
He looked back at the creature again, seeing it's gaze locked on him, a shiver ran down his spine. Just as he was about to create some more distance between them, the creatures cracks began glowing more brightly.
"What th-" the creature then dashed towards the boy with it's speed increasing with every step. Panicked, he threw himself out of the way as the creature rammed into a tree leaving a small dent.
"Hah! You're not half as strong as you look," the boy taunted the creature but would soon regret it as the cracks on the creature began to glow even brighter," Ohoh... that's not good-"
The creature swung it's fist as the boy could only stare helplessly. At the moment of impact, he was sent flying before slamming into a tree. His body slid to the ground leaving a trail of blood smeared on the tree.
Barely conscious, the boy watched as the creature menacingly approached him. "M-mom, Dad.... anybody help..." Tears ran down his bloodied face as he felt excruciating pain. Then everything went black. An overwhelming sense of release embraced him as the pain disappeared along with the spine chilling fearfully.
Suddenly, his eyes burst open and although he was still in the forest, everything around him was on fire. After taking everything in, he searched the area with his gaze but the monster was nowhere to be found," is this he'll.... I'm I dead!?"
"No... we'll, not yet at least," the boy heard a voice from beyond the flames and hurriedly got up. "W-who's there?....
