[??? - Nighttime - Mei's POV]
Out of nowhere, Mei found herself dropped into a black leather desk chair. In front of her was a medium desk with a couple of monitors, an old fan, a red and white striped plastic soda cup, and some other kind of junk. Overall, the place reminded her of her room back when Metal wasn't around to act as her maid.
"Hello? Hello? Hello? Uh, I wanted to record a message for you to help you get settled on your first night."
"Wha—?"
"Um, I actually worked in that office before you. I'm finishing up my last week now, as a matter of fact. So, Į̵̡̛̝̣̮̤̯̄̕ţ̷̣̠͇̯̻̳̉̎̾̓͘̚'̷̡͎͚̱͓̅̓̀̀̑̀̽̀͜s̷̻̤̝͛͘͜ ̸̞̟̺̈́m̸̢̨̨̲̣͖̺̘̥̻̻̀̊e̸̫̺̙͚̋̄̐̈́́."

"Alright, I'm going to do the smart thing and ignore that!"
Spinning around in her chair, the girl's eyes zoomed in on the things that interested her inside in the office, that being the carcass of a brown bear, a box full of colorful animal scraps, and a silver robot with a flat circular head. Oh, there was also some huge black abomination baring its teeth at her from the right doorway.
"...Sup?" The thing didn't have any manners and so didn't return the greeting. Instead, it barged into the office, its giant claws ready to rip the girl to shreds. "Uh-oh."
Reacting quickly, Reacting quickly, Mei jumped from her chair just in time to avoid a swipe from its claws that split the seat in two. Not interested in sticking around with whatever was attacking her, she sprinted towards the left door and down the hallway.
Soon, she found another door, and so she kicked it, letting herself in before shutting it behind her. Letting out a low whistle, she leaned back against the door.
"This isn't weird, not weird at all! Anyways, now wh—" A delicate, tinkling melody, similar to that of a classic, slightly out-of-tune wind-up toy box, filled the dimly lit room, reaching Mei's ears. "Now this is a musical?"
"All I do is dance alone..."
"Psh, be still and quiet."
Glancing to her right, Mei spotted a towering animatronic clown girl with pale white skin, bright red twin pigtails, rosy cheeks, and piercing green eyes. Her red-and-white outfit, striped sleeves, and oversized red shoes gave her the appearance of a cheerful circus performer.
"I don't recognize you. You are new... everything will be okay. Do not be afraid. I only wish to help you..."
The machine's midriff opened, revealing a metallic claw holding an ice cream cone out for Mei.
"Don't mind if I do!"
Mei snatched the ice cream out of the claw. Not even a full second later, the machine's claw shot out, aiming at her stomach. Thankfully, her reflexes were trained by dozens of explosions (not caused by her, where did you get that idea?), and she managed to twist her hips to the right, avoiding being impaled.
"That's illegal!" Seeing its plan fail, the robot wasn't too happy, which it expressed by letting out a high-pitched scream as its face plates spread out, exposing its interior. "Screw you too! And here I was going to offer you an upgrade!"
Mei dashed out of the room after sticking her tongue out and throwing the ice cream cone straight into the machine's face. On her way down the hall, she encountered a mangled robot hanging from the roof that tried to bite her head off, but she slid underneath.
Shortly after, she reached a new room. This time, it was a more spacious area filled with long, colorful tables, party hats, balloons, and bright lights. At the right corner were two small animatronics that had the appearance of chubby children, while in the center of the room was a stage with another three animatronics on top, those being a blue bunny, a yellow chicken, and a brown bear similar to the one whose carcass Mei saw back in the office.
The three machines performed a generic kid's song while moving their limbs in a stiff manner, only to stop once they sensed Mei's presence. Their heads snapped in her direction as their eye sockets turned pitch black, leaving only a white dot in the center.
"Uhhh... sorry, wrong place. I was actually searching for the bathroom, so if you excuse me..."
With a nervous laugh, Mei began walking backwards, only to bump into something solid. Looking over her shoulder, she found the same black nightmare staring down at her, with its jaw full of razor-sharp teeth slightly unhinged.
"Hehe... didn't see you there. I guess I'll go this other wa—"
Again, she bumped into something, this time it was a dark green bunny with holes all over its decaying frame. Mei couldn't help but gag at the smell coming from it as she tried to create distance, but was unsuccessful, as the three robotic animals on the stage had already moved into place, surrounding her.
Fear began creeping into Mei as she realized there wasn't an escape route anymore. And to add the candle on top of the cake, more and more animatronics entered the room, some of them crawling on the floor, others having to drag themselves, a few perched on the roof, and some even floating in the air.
"H-Hey, come on, I-I haven't done anything! Just let me be!"
"You will not be spared. You will not be saved."
The rotten bunny said as it took its first step forward, its exposed metallic foot hitting the floor tiles with a loud clanking sound as it got closer. Mei tried to step away, but gray cables belonging to a mass of them wrapped around her torso, holding her in place.
"I will make you suffer, suffer like so many of the others."
"L-Let go!"
Mei tried to wiggle her way out of the cables, but her restraints wouldn't loosen. Watching the foul-smelling animatronic get closer and closer, her heartbeat quickened along with her breathing.

"Hey, hold on, why am I scared of your smelly butt?" The fear evaporated from her face, making her soon-to-be killer pause as it reached for her neck. "Ngh... gimme a sec..."
Mei wiggled a bit more and managed to free one of her arms. Then, she reached into her pocket and pulled out her phone before sending a quick message.
"Alright! He should be here in about..."
CRASH!!
"That long."
Hearing the thunderous noise of one of the restaurant walls being destroyed, the cables holding Mei in place let go of her as their owner, along with everyone else, focused on the dust cloud made by the rubble. As the dust slowly dispersed, two yellow lights cut through the cloud.
"Yep, you do that, buddy!"
Mei slipped between the animatronics as her creation launched itself across the room and into the crowd of animatronics. Unbothered by the screams and flying robot parts, she found a seat at one of the tables, sitting on it she reclined back while kicking her legs up.
"Oh! Pizza!"

[Present Day (Nighttime) - Hero's Gate Apartments - Mei's POV]
Mei groaned as she stuck her hand out from under her covers, trying to grab her phone from her bedside table. After smacking her hand against the wood a few times, she finally found the device, grabbing it and pulling it into her fabric fortress.
"OWW!" The girl grimaced as the bright screen hit her eyes like a physical smack. Blinking a few times, she eventually recovered and was able to read the notification that woke her up. "It's... an automatic status report from Metal's system?"
Squinting her eyes, she tapped the screen so it would display the message in detail.
"Oh... that can't be good. Actually... now might be a great time for that suitcase and for my cute baby to stop playing hide and seek!"
