The atmosphere in the library for the rest of the night was surprisingly comfortable, despite what had happened earlier that day.
Adal sat behind his desk reading a book as he watched the sky turn dark outside. He had allowed Juliette and Penelope to sleep whilst he would stay downstairs and handle the night shift that he had proposed, to help settle the visitors.
His women begged him to help, but he refused. They already had to deal with so much during the day, it was only right that they had a relaxed night.
As for Willow and Collins, the two women had left not long after his speech. He had spoken to them both and eased their worries before they went home.
That left Adal alone in silence, but the silence did not last long.
A woman entered the library late into the night, and her bright orange hair caught Adal's attention. It hung long past her shoulders and shielded each side of her extremely cute face.
