The clouds in the sky cut across the darkness like thick foam as it formed thin spears, almost like the starry sky was about to wage war with the earth.
The entire universe was a deadly jungle… the strong prey over the weak… everyone becoming a pawn or chesspiece for something greater which looked down at the world from the sky above.
A split second later, the wind picked up pace as the reality around merged with something strange… something unknown and then a weird looking creature jumped out of this warping reality.
They were not only one, rather, a good number of these creatures invaded this world.
The moment they entered, the universe changed.
These creatures munched on humans, the scent of nascent souls filled their entire mind, just like vampires would react to the scent of blood.
It took a few years for humanity to adapt to their invasion and then…
They discovered that if humans could kill these creatures and harvest their magical cores then, they could mutate into something supernatural, awakening powers to fight stronger creatures of this nature because…
The dimension that had mixed with reality, inviting these creatures had grown a head taller, which means…a much more powerful creature has started entering the world.

In an abandoned shed, a thin, frail young teenager, fourteen years old, stared coldly at the gory sight before him.
His parents had been murdered by humans who had already become supernatural.
To those ordinary and mundane humans, those other humans that had mutated, transforming into something supernatural is considered a God because they could do things that mundane humans were incapable of doing for example, absorbing chakra and mana from the universe.
In fact, the boundary between humanity and the supernatural is probably one of the reasons why the earth was starting to change…this included, pooling in a large quantity of chakras into earth allowing humans to transform.
Zeus, watched with cold and calculating eyes as he remembered being set on fire by one of the enemies, expecting him to burn and yet… After his parents had died, he didn't die in the flames. They just burned and burned nothing in particular…
'It's high time I transformed too, so that I can take my revenge…'
Zeus picked the charred corpse of his parents and dug a grave six feet deep and nonchalantly tossed both bodies in there before sealing the ground up.
Then he stared at the emptiness of the sky as he reminisced about his childhood days… he had just clocked six years old exactly before reality was merged with another layer of existence.
The first stream of chakras which entered the universe had actually visited him. That was exactly when his worldview changed.
They didn't grant him the unusual abilities but he was granted strange agility and stealth as a natural skill which he had used as a means to survive until his fifteenth birthday… the day those boys had come in and murdered his parents.
Why had he not burnt in the flames when his parents had been roasted to a crisp?
It is because… his resistance to flames is insanely high. He had only pretended to be in pain so that the enemies could leave when in fact it didn't really hurt too much.
Zeus just feared that they might attack him with physical power and that is something he lacked greatly so he used his brains and cunning to stay alive.
Now… he had to prepare to kill a creature and harvest its core. So that he can transform to the supernatural side.
Zeus also had an inkling that if he kills higher ranked creatures and harvests its core… his affinity he will eventually unlock would definitely become very powerful…
Zeus made up his mind as he decided to make a trip to the desert… a place that is known as the worst nightmare for an ordinary human.
