"Your token," the candidate said with relaxed smile on his face, "surrender it."
Conan looked at the candidate for a while before looking down at the point counter in his hand before asking, "why?"
"Why?" The candidate let out a chuckle, seemingly amused by the question, "well, since you're going to be disqualified soon, I might as well tell you."
Conan silently listened to the candidate speak.
"You see, although the academy has a certain number of points candidates must gather to get admitted, " he started, "the amount of points is not fixed and the more candidates apply for the entrance test, the higher the point, but what happens if the amount of students are less than a certain number?"
"Then the number of require points reduces," Conan answered.
"Bingo!" The boy said with a grin, "and the easiest way to ensure I make it in… is to reduce the competition."
"If I break your token, you're out. Take your token," he tapped his own device lightly, "and your points become mine."
