Chapter 3 - Fearful

Morganael could sense that something bad had happened. — "Finn…? What happened?"

"I lost it…" Finn said in a gradual voice, stuffed with fear.

"Lost what?"

"I lost… the only stone we could use to get back to Earth." Finn said in a gradually decreasing voice, his hands were shaking, his voice was trembling.

"You… what?!" Morganael froze.

"Wait!... I found it!" He said happily as he pulled out a small box out of his pocket.

Finn opened the small and took out two dark-yellow lockets. "Here, have it!" Finn said with utter joy as he grabbed his locket tightly and wore it.

"What are these?" Morganael asked.

"Are you genuinely a fool?" Finn replied.

"Doesn't matter, what matters the most is WHERE THE HELL ARE WE?!'" Morganael asked again.

"In… uh… Heynxia?"

"The hell is 'Heynxia'?"

"The city where WE are at."

"Damnit!" Morn had already lost his hope, he could hope no benefit any further.

They were in another world, a world called 'Valsheim.'

"Anyway…" Morn continued, "what is this world called?"

"Easy. Valsheim."

"Uhm… what?" Morn was astoundingly swift.

"Valsheim."

"Dangit." Morn muttered unlistenably as he sat down on the wheat. "What are the odds of going back to Earth?"

"Maybe…two percent?"

"WHAT?!"

"Hold up, hold up, hold up. Something is better than nothing, isn't it?"

"A'ight, then."

Morganael looked down again, in despair that this world wouldn't grant any prosperity just like the old hood.

"WHAT IS GOING ON?!" He bit his lip and said: "What do we do now…"

"You die." A voice came echoing.

Their faces became pale, the air was now pushing against them. Restlessly. Continuously.

Incious drew in walking lazily, as such valiant actions coloured the dead sky. With the stars blooming like a torch against water. He looked false enough.

But, simply 'water' does not clarify a thing, does it? No.

So, what is it?

Some stars bloomed very hard, the sky looked as if it was made by a kid.

But, what was in the middle?

Moon.

Sometimes, it takes none to solve what cannot be done by one.

And so did this 'moon' resemble what I've told you before.

The fear in Morn's eyes gradually enhanced as the place became narrow.

The air thickened and Morn's throat was silenced. As silent as the thorn of power and authority.

But Finn? He wasn't a silent loser.

He had his face serious, like a statue made for the guide of life and death. His eyes were sharp and enough to fright one away. And that fright would be so strong that it can solely defy psychology.

He was. Quite an extraordinary one. I'd say.

The wind moved faster around them.

But how fast?

Not quite a danger. Not one danger that can solely make people fright so bad.

But his hair? Quite a mess.

Not those types of hairs that give an idea that he came after a destructive chaos.

His hairs were so messy they looked like a football player who just came after scoring seven goals in a row.

One piece of his hair fell down gradually as it reached the eyebrow of his majestic brown eyes.

He gulped. And waited for a few seconds before he gradually tightened his grip to grab the bat near him.

To him, this was nothing like a duty. It was like a choice. His own desired choice.

He took a very deep breath. He was now ready for something.

Something what? How? Why? When? Where?

Incious looked down at him, Incious's own thought that Finn was trying to fright him led him to question the common.

"Say, kid. What is your name." Incious asked as if he had experienced this before. Something that went very wrong.

That moment there felt very wrong. The sky looked very brightful for a very split second until it gradually regained its dullness.

Incious's eyes were narrowed as 'it' saw through the ways this could have been done.

"There are billions of people right now… in this world." Finn began, the air around them felt more like a dizzy-wave now. Each word hit Incious like a stone.

Not a simple, tiny stone. But like a rock.

A large one. Filled with questions of the next.

Finn began to wander around here and there. He was slow, he took each step so carefully it felt like playing chess. He (Finn) looked down each time he took a gradual step.

"But you're the only dumb-ass out here."

He stared into Incious aimlessly. He had now completely stopped walking. His eyes were dilated into one thing sole: Incious.

Incious gave a resounding tsk. One that'd keep resounding in everyone's ears until the ears start to bleed heavily.

Tsk! Tsk! Tsk!

It was gradual, yet felt like it was the swiftest thing ever.

Incious started laughing heavily. It was so loud it'd actually make one's ear bleed.

His laugh was resounding, yet menacing. Menacing in a way even monsters would leave immediately.

His laugh didn't stop, it was going on-and-on-and-on!

The sky almost felt scared of Incious. Starts became nearly-dark as the crimson moon stood in the centre.

The stars were altogether forming a bigger 'star.'

Something that happens in centuries, not even centuries; thousand years.

They were confused by Incious's so-menacing laugh that centered them around the darkness.

The crimson moon became dull, dullest in years. Fullest in months. Right away, there was a cracked wall.

It was slightly-red-and-white in colour. Therefore, it was broken. There were many plants growing in it, it was the place for many before and many others now too; just not the same.

And then, Incious stopped. It stopped laughing.
