Chapter 1. A new beginning
In a place where the space seems to stretch infinitely, a confused and disgruntled voice broke the silence
"Ugh, my head... Where am i? D-didnt I die?"
The only thing that answered his question was silence
'Is this the afterlife? Does the afterlife even exist? Or is it just an empty void?' Thought the spec of light that resembled a human. His thoughts overflowing.
'Am i going to spend the rest of eternity here in nothing?'Thought the blob of light." Heh, atleast i exist" it thought out loud.
Then suddenly, a bright flash of white light appeared in front the blob, from that flash, a voice spoke, "kijin kairi" it said. " you are dead. You died from cancer in your hospital bed at 7:56 pm at the age of 23."
For a moment, kairi stayed silent, the arrival of the light taking him by suprise, then,he replied in a sarcastic voice, " heh, i thought you'd say something new, I already know that. And what are you? The god? Some angle?"
"What I am doesn't concern you" the voice replied in a neutral voice without any emotions at kairi's provoking reply, " what does concerns you is that you have been given another chance to live, as your will to live is too great"
"Yea yea the common trashy plot, guy dies then gets smacked into another world with op powers" replied kairi, taking his frustration from 23 years of his bed ridden life on this entity.
Although it was a stupid thing to do, his anger had consumed his reason. He was letting all his emotions out.
After this out burst, his mind strangely became calm and reason returned, it was only now that he realised that he was speaking with something that can erase him with a sneez, now fear and nervousness filled his mind, 'he won't mind my behaviour would he?'
"....as you have been chosen, I will ignore this insolent behaviour of your, but you certainly are very different, most people are very excited when they get a chance to live another life non the less in a world with superpowers, you seem to be happy about your prospect of another life, but your anger and frustration drowns your happiness" replied the voice in an amused tone, it's tone changing for the first time.
" Oh ofcourse I am angry, the only time I remember not taking medicines or being able to enjoy my life was of my childhood, for 14 years, FOURTEEN YEARS! I haven't been able to touch my hair, play with other children, the only memories I have is of taking medicines and looking out the hospital window!" replied kairi, frustration and anger boiling in his voice.
" I miss the part where it's my problem" replied the voice, it's voice toneless, but behind that amusement and humor bloomed.
"...." Kairi was left speechless, his mouth opning, but no words came out of it.
"Let's cut to the chase, you have been given another chance at life, and you will get one wish, but this wish won't be limitless in power, so make a reasonable wish" stated the voice with a touch of seriousness.
"Aww come on, why cant I be overpowered like the others?" Kairi lamented.
"No, you have only been sponsored by 5 ⬜⬜'s, so you don't get that much freedom." said the voice in a feminine tone.
"Sponsored by what? What are you speaking? French?" Replied kairi, confused.
"Ahh, you can't hear their name, well think of them as personification of concepts of reality, anyways, choose your wish" now a male voice replied.
'strange how his tone changes every time he talks' thought kairi, " my wish is that I want to have the greatest potential and talent possible in every field of life and beyond"
"...a great wish actually, is on the absolute limit of what I can grant you, unexpected, but fine. Now let me give you a piece of advice, I have seen countless others just like you, although asking for something that brings the limit of your wish is rare, there have been countless examples, and most of them get too confident in their own self and lose their life,... Now, that's all I have to say, hope you end up doing something great, and oh i almost forgot to mention, the wish isn't free, its a investment in your future. Good luck" said the voice, it's tone strangely getting distant as it spoke.
"WAIT, where am I getting Isekai'ed?" Asked kair, dumbfounded at the notion of not getting to know something this important.
"Hehe, that, you will find yourself"
This was the last thing kairi heard
before he was consumed by a feeling reminisct of getting hit in the head.
