"Are you two hiding something from me?" Paimon grew even more suspicious.
"It's nothing. Remember when we visited his Serenitea Pot before? He gave me permission. From now on, we can enter anytime," Lumine explained.
"Wow! That beautiful place? We can go anytime?!" Paimon gasped. "Then when we travel, we won't have to sleep outdoors anymore! We can save so much on lodging! And use the money for more delicious food!"
Lumine rubbed her forehead helplessly. Of course Paimon's first thought was still food.
"Come on, I'll show you around," Lu Lin said, bringing them into the Serenitea Pot.
Inside the valley, he had prepared a courtyard house for them.
"Wow! Such a big house!" Paimon exclaimed like a country child seeing the city for the first time. "Wait—what's that in the sky? The Jade Chamber?!"
Lumine had been in a hurry the day before and hadn't noticed it. Now she looked up in surprise.
"That's right. Not the original one—this is my replica. Ningguang and I live up there now."
"You and Ningguang?" Lumine narrowed her eyes slightly.
She had already learned about Hu Tao and Xiangling's relationship with Lu Lin. She knew he was not exclusive.
Her feelings were complicated.
She enjoyed being with him.
But she was also selfish.
She wanted to monopolize his gentleness.

"We're going to Wanmin Restaurant. Coming?" Lu Lin called casually.

"I guess we are… It happened last night. You weren't there, and we didn't get a chance to tell you," Lumine admitted.
"Waaah! Now that you have Lu Lin, you won't want me anymore?!" Paimon teared up dramatically.
Lumine quickly hugged her.
"Of course not! You're my best partner!"
"Isn't she emergency food?" Lu Lin pretended to ask.
"You're the emergency food! Big dummy!" Paimon exploded.
Lu Lin just laughed, thinking to himself he'd deal with her someday.
"Alright, let's eat. Aren't you hungry?"
Mentioning food instantly fixed Paimon's mood.
Evening in the Serenitea Pot
Xiangling's new dish turned out surprisingly normal — and delicious.
They enjoyed a hearty meal and even drank some wine.
Out of curiosity, Paimon took two small sips—

"Lumine~ I'm sleeping with you tonight~ Don't abandon me~" she mumbled drunkenly.
After bringing her back to the Serenitea Pot, Lumine reassured her.
"I'm not abandoning you. Of course you're sleeping with me."
Lu Lin watched thoughtfully.
He had tried earlier—Paimon couldn't formally "move in."
Yet Lumine could bring her inside.
That technically broke the usual rules.
Strange.
He stored the mystery away for later.
After bathing Paimon and settling into their new bed, Lumine let out a satisfied sigh.
The soft mattress was heavenly.
No more camping in the wild.
Just then—
The door quietly opened.
Lu Lin slipped inside and climbed onto the bed, wrapping his arms around her from behind.
"What are you doing?" she whispered softly, careful not to wake Paimon.
He had just bathed, wearing only loose shorts.
His arms circled her waist, palms resting on her lower abdomen.
"Spring nights are short. What do you think?"
"Stop it. Paimon's here. What if she hears?" she warned in a hushed voice.
"She's asleep. She won't."
He gently kissed her earlobe.
Lumine was extremely sensitive. Her body trembled instantly.
"Don't… you'll wake her…"
"She drank. She's sleeping deeply."
Moonlight filtered through the window.
Paimon was curled up, sleeping soundly.
Lumine was still pressing down his hands weakly.
He subtly moved his fingers, signaling her to let go.
It was similar to the night before.
But different.
His lips traced her ear and neck, sending waves of tingling warmth through her.
She was losing strength.

Let him succeed once more.
Just once.
Her resistance slowly faded.
She wore loose pajamas after bathing, making things easy.
Sensing her consent, his hand slipped beneath the hem.
Her freshly bathed skin was smooth and warm.
He moved upward without obstruction, touching soft curves.
She wasn't as full as Ningguang—but certainly not small.
The softness made him inhale sharply.
Lumine arched slightly, her body taut under his touch.
