The dance was beautiful, graceful, and elegant... but above all else, playful.
I started following the mana, tracing it back to where the source of the reaction was coming from.
But when I followed it to the middle of the room, it suddenly disappeared.
Well I wouldn't say disappeared.
It would be more appropriate to say that the mana around the whole room's mana became the same as that little mana.
" Since I can't find the source though a trail , I'll just check the mana density."
So I started looking for the area with the most mana.
I found a small bit of extra mana at the left side of the door I entered and I also found multiple other places with more energy than the rest of the room spread around.
And I found the wall I can leave through.
It has a lot of illusion formations and so on to make it invisible.
When divine perception is on I can see the way mana flow the density and so on .
I can also see through deception.
The system said that it goes up to the conceptual level.
But, it doesn't want to tell me anything about the concepts no matter how many times I ask about them.
And it said it helps me understand runes, formations and even things I can't know.
At that's the reason she tweaked with my eyes a bit.
Well at least it didn't do much.
I exited my thoughts when I realized I am just standing there for no reason at all.
If I can't find the owner of the mana this time I'll just leave.
I followed the mana again and nothing.
So I just looked at the door with multiple layers of protection and invisibility.
I walked to the door and put my hand on the handle.
But as I was opening the door, the mana between me and the door exploded.
And it sent me flying back .
But thankfully, my hand is still there and I wasn't injured.
I stood up.
" Hey?"
" Whoever it is , I really don't have the energy to fight".
Silence.
" Okay , let's make a plan for what we gonna do ".
" You let me leave first , and I come back just after recovering to fight fairly".
[ Well , your talking time is done ].
And the room is alight.
" Hey , hey , I just want to go , I just want to go!!".
But it seems the wielder of the flames isn't listening , cause the flames didn't stop.
Instead , they started burning brighter, hotter.
Sweat started trickling down my temple.
I wiped that sweat.
" Thank God that the fire is avoiding me by a very narrow margin".
I then put my hand forward to so if the flames would damage me.
And they did.
They burnt me.
And quite badly.
I quickly removed my hand.
To see the severity.
And just as I felt.
I am burnt badly.
" But it was just for a second".
" Not even my flame is that strong , unless I have been gathering and compressing mana for a long time".
I looked in the fire.
And at the door, I saw a big figure at the beginning of the fire.
" It seems you are controlling the mana that is already here , and converting it to fire!".
And then the fire started shooting fire balls in this already narrow space.
And it's not like I can move at all.
The fire is covering me like a second skin with a bit of extra space.
I covered my body with as many elemental barriers as possible.
Then I felt a weight in my hand as I retrieved luminara from the system space.
System , luminara is a light and life element weapon, right?
[ Yes ].
Okay.
I started gathering light energy In the sword at the same rate I was doing it with the fire.
After confirming that my mana is entering the swords blade, I decided to go in the fire.
I put 2 super thin barriers of ever element I have access to around my skin and clothes.
And with each element , the fire weakens , until it reaches void , that devours the mana and helps me replenish mine.
And I always send just a little bit to the blade of the sword .
I then removed all thoughts as they are distractions when facing enemies you have to use everything against.
I then entered the fire, and nothing , not even air is reaching my clothes.
I then continued walking to the door.
The reason I can see through the flames is because of divine perception.
But then out of nowhere, something clawed at my back, thus allowing small wisps of flame to seep through my resistance.
" Aaaaaaaahhh!!".
It hurts, it hurts, it hurts.
I put Luminara in my other hand and started rubbing the area where I was clawed.
As my hand touched the area, pain arched through my whole back like never before.
The burning pain.
My breath hicthed at the pain.
I quickly removed my hand from the injury and left it to heal.
And that's when I was striked in front this time.
So I quickly put up my guard with the sword in front of me and locked in.
But my defense stance looks more like and attacking one.
I then sent more mana into the swords blade so that I can sharpen it.
And I also put a little void and space mana at the tip of the sword.
Well, this will be the best sword training.
That's when I felt an attack, so I moved my sword as quickly as possible and blocked.
But the sword flew straight out of my hands.
I saw that and quickly put it into the system space and brought it back out.
And that's when the next attack came.
I defended.
And another came, I defended.
Again and again.
But there is a problem.
" Stop attacking me slowly".
I said as I continued defending.
" Stop playing with me and take the fight seriously!".
I defended another attack as a humanoid figure appeared in front and nodded .
Before it disappeared.
And of before I was pressured into a corner, now, I am being overwhelmed.
