The entire arena erupted in applause. Everyone was proud that such a legend had appeared in Konoha.
Satoru had actually fought very hard. Initially, he thought the chunin exam at this level would be easy for him.
But it turned out not to be so simple. The shinobi world was vast; there would always be opponents with special bloodlines, special status, and great power. No one could be underestimated.
Then the Third Hokage immediately announced:
"The champion will naturally become a chunin. Children who didn't win, don't be discouraged."
"By our collective decision, we will still promote 1-3 people to chunin," the Third didn't say definitively, giving these people some hope.
Satoru thought the same. To become a chunin, great power was one thing, but wisdom, leadership qualities... and so on were even more important. Otherwise, in the original story, Nara Shikamaru couldn't have become a chunin.
The tournament ended. The arena spectators dispersed with a sense of dissatisfaction.
The Third Hokage said to Satoru:
"Satoru, very well done. You're the strongest, it turns out. Facing so many strong opponents, you still became champion. Looks like I didn't misjudge you."
"It's all thanks to the teacher's good training," Satoru was very modest.
"Now you're a chunin. You have two choices. First—go teach at the Ninja Academy. Second—continue accumulating missions and one day become a jonin," the Third said very seriously.
Satoru was somewhat speechless. He was only six or seven now? How could he teach kids at the Ninja Academy? He was a kid himself!
"I'm still a child!" Satoru said directly.
"Ha, if you want to teach, why not? Age isn't an issue... Actually, there's another option—join ANBU and report directly to me," the Third suggested.
"ANBU?" Satoru thought. If he joined ANBU, he'd get chances for cool missions. But his free time would decrease, and thus training time too.
"No, I'm not considering ANBU yet. I'll keep working hard to become a jonin," as soon as Satoru decided, he heard the System's voice.

The System's voice made Satoru immediately say:
"Teacher Sarutobi, on second thought, I want to try working with kids. During work hours, I'll teach the children, and the rest of the time, take and complete missions."
The Third Hokage asked awkwardly:
"Can your body handle it? I'm afraid there won't be enough time. If you teach during the day and do missions in the evening, can you make it back by day?"
"Let shadow clones handle it," Satoru said. "Since I want to become a jonin, I naturally need to accumulate missions. I'll continue C- and D-rank missions. B-rank is no problem for me either. Shadow clones or myself, we can teach. Don't worry."
Satoru's intentions were clear: he wanted both, refusing neither teaching nor promotion.
In the end, after much persuasion from Satoru, the Third agreed to let him try an internship first.
After talking with the Third, Satoru naturally bought flowers and headed straight to Konoha Hospital to visit Minato Namikaze and Senju Yoshime. Their wounds weren't serious, and they could get up soon.
Satoru also met Hyuga Seika. This girl had overused chakra and seemed still unconscious.
Satoru said nothing. He bought too many flowers and placed some in her vase as well. Then Satoru returned home.
Satoru had two more things. First—he became a chunin, completed the quest, and awakened Mangekyo Sharingan.
Second—he had another draw opportunity.
"System, help me awaken it!" Satoru said.
