Chapter 4: An Unexpected Visitor
Ukko's life at the magic academy was ordinary but fulfilling. He worked hard every day to learn magic knowledge, practice magic skills, and constantly improve his strength. Teacher Bart also imparted all he knew to him, teaching Ukko the magic knowledge and combat experience he had learned.
However, the peaceful life did not last long.
One evening, Ukko was practicing boxing in the backyard when he suddenly heard a rapid knock on the door.
He wiped away the sweat and walked to the door, opening it.
Standing outside the door was a strange man. He was wearing a black robe, with a silver mask on his face, revealing only a pair of cold eyes.
"Who are you?" Ukko asked vigilantly.
The man in the black robe did not answer, but said in a hoarse voice, "Ukko, I know you have awakened the power of the water element."
Ukko was shocked, he didn't know how this stranger knew that he had awakened the power of the water element.
"What do you want?" Ukko asked.
"I'm here to give you an opportunity," the man in the black robe said, "an opportunity to change your destiny."
"What opportunity?" Ukko asked.
"Join us, join the Dark Cult," the man in the black robe said, "As long as you join us, you can gain powerful strength and become a superior being."
Ukko's face changed upon hearing this. The Dark Cult was the mortal enemy of the Element Kingdom, an evil organization composed of fallen dark magic users.
"I refuse," Ukko said without hesitation.
"Are you sure?" the man in the black robe said, "Join us, and you can get everything you want. Power, wealth, status, you'll have it all."
"I'm not interested in your things," Ukko said, "I just want to live a peaceful life."
"A peaceful life?" the man in the black robe sneered, "In this world, the weak are not qualified to have a peaceful life. Only the strong can control their own destiny."
"I control my own destiny," Ukko said.
