The next week
Lyan
The guys didn't let me out of their sight for the whole week, and when they did the seal on my hand reminded me I couldn't go outside.
I was politely ignoring Orus, still pissed at their stunt, when the speakers cracked and I knew that couldn't mean anything good.
" Death battles are hereby instaureted. Good luck to you all" Once the message finished the dean's voice disappeared.
I turned to look at the guys and spoke first.
" Does that mean that killing is allowed now?"
" Only in PE and Combat class, but yes"
Jack and Orus nooded. Worst of it all was that we had PE next hour. My life just kept getting better and better.
Once we were in the locker room I changed my clothes and was about to leave when Mark took my hand.
" Oscar's been bugging me to give this to you"
Mark handed me a beautiful red bracelet with little golden charms dangling all over it. It was beautiful. I grabbed it and immediately put it on, but Mark wasn't done. He also handed me a small box.
"This one's from me" He blushed and ran away before I could open the box.
I carefully lifted the lid and saw the earrings I had looked at the market looking back at me. I quickly hid them inside my jacket and smiled. He had remembered.
I was almost jumping up and down from the excitement from getting the earrings when I got out, already late, but whatever, and the scene that unfolded before my eyes was brutal.
Everyone was attacking everyone and the teacher just looked from the side, arms crossed. The moment a tooth flew past me I decided I wasn't staying. I turned around and left the training area, knowing full well skipping would dock me points, but it was better than a fight and I wasn't that low in the ranking, so I could afford not going to class once or twice.
I left the guys in the middle of a monumental brawl with some dudes and went to the painting of the dean near the study room. I was thinking that even though I couldn't go out, maybe the tunnels wouldn't be considered outside by the spell and now that the guys weren't here I could explore to my heart's content as long as I didn't go too far.
After pressing the secret mechanism the painting turned and the passage was revealed. I hauled myself up and started crawling.
" Fuck" I swore under my breath when I noticed I had left my phone behind in my uniform. Sighing I cast a spell and a little light illuminated my way.
After a while of crawling I reached the cave I had gotten to the other day. Instead of picking the passage that led to the forest this time I picked the opposite one and started walking.
The passage went down and down, and the temperature dropped as I walked. I hugged myself, shivering, and continued walking. Quite some time had already passed by when I decided this wasn't worth it. By now my teeth were clattering and my whole body was shivering so much I couldn't hold my hands steady.
I turned around and started undoing what I had done, discarding that passage from my list. As I went up so did the temperature and by when I reached the cave my hands had stopped spasming and my teeth weren't clattering anymore.
I looked at my hand and saw that the seal was still green. I smiled smugly to myself.
" I knew it!" I threw my fist to the air in celebration and looked around for the next passage.
I chose the one on my right, and without hesitating I went in. My internal clock told me I had already been walking for a while and that PE class had already finished some time ago, but after disappearing like that I wouldn't get another chance to snoop around until the next Combat or PE class or not even then if the guys though I could scape. I understood their worries. Oscar had found me on the brink of death, but I had a mission and their control just made me want to go rogue even more.
This passage was wider than the rest and instead of going down it went up. I followed the path and after a while I saw some light on the far end of the tunnel. There was an open door on the middle of the tunnel and I hurried along and took a peek, without completing exposing my body, just in case.
I wasn't afraid of someone attacking me. After last time I may or may not have stolen one of Oscar's daggers, his room was filled with daggers and even guns hidden all over it, and was fully prepared to fight anyone. No, what I was afraid of was the mark turning red. I had no doubt their questions wouldn't stop if it did, and worse, I would get punished. I knew they wouldn't do anything extreme, but I still disliked punishments, probably because I associated them with my father's beatings.
Just outside the tunnel was a big expanse of grass, decorated with blue, yellow and flowers of all the colors all along it. Their fragrance wafted into my nose and I had to admit it was one of the best things I had ever smelled. Even though it was winter right now and flowers shouldn't be blooming, they were, defying all odds, very likely due to magic, and they stood strong, wafting their fresh fragrance into my nose. It smelled of freshly cut grass, early spring and of sunshine, if sunshine could smell.
I stood there for a while, admiring the flowers. I had never seen ones from up close. All I wanted to do was to run to the field and throw myself between the flowers, rolling and turning, until the sun set and my whole body smelled of flowers.
I looked down at my hand and saw the seal was still green. ' Maybe nothing will happen. It's just a flower field' Against my better judgement I ran to the field and threw myself into the grass. I rolled around, smiling and filling fulfilled.
I rolled and rolled, feeling the grass's texture beneath my hands and the smell of the flowers only intensified. I noticed they smelled different. The purple ones, which opened to reveal yellow centers smelled of lavender. The small pink ones didn't have a specific smell but it reminded me of sunshine. But the big, bulky ones that had different colors in their petals were my favorites. They smelled of everything right in this world. They smelled like sunshine, spring, love, lander, strawberries and everything I liked combined into one smell. I cut some of them and held them in my hands as I rolled around.
I kept rolling and rolling, forgetting about everything, until the sun began to set behind the far away mountains, clearly visible from this field. The sun's rays sent golden hues all over the field and the flowers slowly started closing up as the sun set. I watched as the sky turned from light blue to orange, yellow and red, creating a beautiful mixture of colors.
If I looked to the side I could see the academy, laying on the nearby mountain, proud and majestic. The light from the sun was reflected in the spires. It was a sight to behold. I kept watching as the sun disappeared behind the horizon and the sky turned a darker and darker blue as the moon, shinning a white light, began to illuminate everything.
In response to the moon's light some flowers that were previously closed began to open and moved by a gentle breeze they started swaying from side to side.
Sighing, I got up, and picking up the flowers I had cut I turned to look at the entrance I had comed from. It was just a door in the middle of the field. I turned to the other side and there was just a bare wall, nothing else. The passage must've been related to magic. I thank from the bottom of my heart the person who had created this beautiful field, and looking back one last time I turned the handle and was back in the dark cave.
I cast again the lighting spell, which had been undone the moment I saw the light at the end of the tunnel and looked down at myself. Grass was clinging to my trousers and shirt, and their once white color had turned into a greenish one. I also noticed I now smelled like the field, which was great. What wasn't so great was that the seal on my hand had turned red. I swallowed hard and started undoing the path that had led me here, walking back to my room.
As soon as I entered our dorm three pairs of eyes turned to look at me.
" You smell like flowers" Orus said, sniffing the air. I smiled and twirled around, still euforic from the field.
Jack walked up to me and took the flower from my hand.
" Hey, that's mine"
His expression darkened as he examined it.
" Where'd you get it?"
The garden was mine, so I lied.
" In town"
Jack sighed and looked at me while burning down my flower.
" Hey that's mine" I pouted, tears forming in my eyes. I didn't want to cry, but I couldn't control my tears and I didn't know why it was so damn hard to control myself right now.
" This flower is an stimulant" Jack said, looking serious.
He cast a healing spell and my head cleared the fog I hadn't even realized I had.
Once the guys saw I was better they relaxed and crossed their arms. Orus then pointed to the red seal in my hand.
" You broke the rules" With the fog gone I could think clearly and the need to laugh and giggle had disappeared.
" I just went to town" I tried to defend myself, going along with the lie I had already told.
" Rules are rules and you broke them" Orus shook his head.
" And now you have to get punished for it" Jack had his devil smile on his face.
Mark, who I hadn't noticed had disappeared, came back from his room with a rope.
Were they going to tie me up so I couldn't go away anymore? I immediately scratched that idea. They wouldn't do that, and then I looked harder at the rope. It was a recreational one, not meant to harm, just to play with it. I recognized it because one of my former boyfriends was into bondage.
Were they planning to....? Jack looked at the rope and smiled at me, which told me all I needed to know. Butterflies started taking flight in my stomach and my body started heating up.
Jack took the rope from Mark's hands and walked to me. Then he leaned in and said.
" Now you're gonna get punished"
My body heated up even more and I started feeling a tingling sensation in my stomach just as my pussy throbbed.
