Seravalle was quiet at Dusk.
The vineyards darkened under a fading golden sky, and the fountain in the town squared murmured softly. Elena Moretti had just locked her grandmother's bookstore when she noticed him.
A Strenger.
Hello stood near the fountains, staring at it as if meant something to him.
Not like a tourist.
Like someone remembering.
Whe he turned and saw her, somthing flickered in his eyes - surprise... maybe even recognise.
"You look just like her," he said before he could stop himself.
Elena frowned. "Like who?"
He quickly shook his head. "Sorry, I'm Daniel".
She hesitated before replying. "Elena."
When she told him her last name - Moretti - his expression tightened for just a second.
" You have family here?" She asked.
"Once," he replied quietly.
The answer felt heavy.
As Elena walked away, she glanced back.
Daniel was no longer looking at the fountain.
He was holding an old photograph.
And even from a distance, she could see a name written on it.
Isabella.
And for the first time, Elena felt it clearly -
This Strenger hadn't come to Seravalle by accident.
