After condensing the petals, Zhaang Ye settled into a peaceful routine. Every so often, he would visit the Inner Sect Library Pavilion to peruse the ancient texts stored there.
The Green Cloud Sect's Inner Sect Library Pavilion housed an enormous collection of two to three hundred thousand volumes. Although the texts on the 1st and 2nd Layers were mostly fragmented, Zhaang Ye still benefited immensely from them.
The most numerous books in the Inner Sect Library Pavilion were miscellaneous texts covering strange tales, rare flowers and exotic herbs, and Pill, Artifact, and Star Divination. These tomes were unrelated to Cultivation, but reading them greatly expanded Zhaang Ye's horizons. It was then that Zhaang Ye learned for the first time that the massive Green Cloud Sect was merely a sect on the Barbaric Frontier.
