After the Divine Eagle brought them down, Lin Xuan jumped off the Demon Beast, landing steadily on the ground. This was the first time he had truly seen the place where he was born. Although it no longer looked as it once did, he could still feel a sense of familiarity.
This feeling stemmed from Lin Hua's memories. It was a pity Lin Hua could no longer see this place; only he could come and see it in Lin Hua's stead.
'So this is the Lin Family's estate...' Lin Xuan took a deep breath, his heart filled with a mixture of emotions. 'What am I even feeling? Do I want to cry?' No, that wasn't it. He didn't have many memories of this place; the ones he had all came from Lin Hua.
So, it would be nonsense to say he had any real feelings for this place. However, relying on Lin Hua's memories added a touch of sorrow to his heart.
