"His use of the Lin's Staff Technique is simply divine. It's so much stronger than our own practice..."
"I know, right? He's even stronger than our own Lin Hui! Lin Hui could never withstand such a continuous assault, especially not at the highest difficulty!"
"The guy's a monster! Just what you'd expect from the champion of the Empire's great war! His explosive power is astounding, and the might he's unleashing with his Bloodline Power is terrifying..."
...
The disciples murmured amongst themselves, marveling at Lin Xuan. Those who were initially biased against him were starting to have a slight change of heart. The reason it was only a 'slight' change was because the real question was whether he could endure for the duration of three incense sticks. That was the major hurdle.
Persisting for a short while was impressive, but endurance was what truly mattered. A brief, powerful burst was ultimately meaningless; he had to sustain that explosive power to truly win them over.
