When it was time to talk business, Phoebe Ainsworth finally reined in her sarcasm.
"It's all here."
Phoebe Ainsworth pulled a small vial from her red backpack and asked, confused, "Why do you need it now? Isn't there still a lot we haven't taken care of?"
Their plan was to frame Warren Grant, but the setup wasn't complete. In theory, they couldn't use the drug on Shirley Thorne yet.
Meredith Rowan took the vial and explained, "I'm just getting the drug from you. I never said I was going to use it right now."
Phoebe Ainsworth frowned and scoffed, "You're not hiding something from me, are you?"
"Of course not."
Meredith Rowan wasn't foolish enough to admit her goal was to take everyone down in one fell swoop. She just smiled and said, "I merely want to lay some groundwork first."
"Explain yourself!"
Phoebe Ainsworth couldn't stand how Meredith Rowan always spoke in riddles. It drove her absolutely crazy.
