Chloe Sinclair smiled. "Mr. Stern really is a good teacher."
Summer Beckett scratched his head. He looked at Chloe Sinclair's expression, hesitating as if he wanted to say something.
Chloe Sinclair had been watching him the whole time, so she knew Summer Beckett had something to say.
"Don't worry, I'll be back at school tomorrow."
Sure enough, Summer Beckett's face lit up, and he quickly nodded. "Then I'll come pick you up tomorrow."
Chloe Sinclair shook her head. "Don't bother. I'm afraid you'll just make me late."
Summer Beckett refused to take no for an answer, insisting to Chloe Sinclair that he would definitely come pick her up the next day.
Chloe Sinclair had no choice but to agree.
The next day, when he saw Chloe Sinclair dressed in a sweatsuit and showing no signs of wanting to get in the car, he suddenly felt a pang of worry.
Of course, he was worried for himself.
Because by the looks of it, Chloe Sinclair was planning to run to school.
