For a high school student to simultaneously publish two papers in top-tier journals was practically unprecedented.
And what's more, it was interdisciplinary research.
Seeing everyone's jaws about to hit the floor in astonishment, Nathan Trenton kindly explained, "Chloe participated in a TV show back in high school and won. Both of those papers came out of her time on the show."
