While the nanny was looking down, rummaging through her bag for change, she suddenly spun around and dove into the crowd.
Her steps were light and her direction clear as she unhesitatingly turned down a side street.
But the nanny was like a shadow. She turned a corner, and the woman immediately followed. She bent down to tie her shoelace, and the woman was instantly half-squatting, holding her by the arm.
The woman's reflexes were incredibly fast, and she always maintained a steady distance—never too close, never too far.
Even in the thickest of crowds, she never lost sight of her for a second.
"Miss, there are a lot of thieves outside, and bad guys hiding behind trees. You can't run off and get lost!"
"I'm not scared with you guys around! If there's really a bad guy, I'll just scream 'Help!'"
She tilted her head up, a sweet smile on her face, her voice crisp and bright.
After speaking, she even deliberately patted the back of the nanny's hand, acting especially dependent.
