Felix Preston frowned slightly but didn't say anything.
Jasper Linden smiled faintly. "What is there to say? I've gotten a good handle on your game. The investment is just a matter of signing a contract."
Evan Yates said, "That may be true, but you're investing a million. Aren't you afraid our game won't take off and your million will go down the drain?"
"What's there to be afraid of?" Jasper Linden's tone was casual, as if he hadn't given the possibility a second thought. "Investing is inherently risky. Once you decide to invest, you have to accept whether you make a profit or take a loss, right?"
"Man, Linden, you're so straightforward." Evan Yates really appreciated what Jasper Linden had said, and he couldn't help but sling an arm over Jasper's shoulder in a brotherly gesture.
"Since Linden himself has said so, we won't try to talk you out of it anymore, right? When should we pick a time to sign the contract?"
