Leo was so angry he could spit blood.
He read and reread Gu Demiao Ning's profile a dozen times, along with that damn Wolf Clan profile picture.
He still couldn't believe this piece of shit was actually a male Wolf Clan Beastman.

Every single detail was a trigger for him.
Dammit, if he'd been a male from the Cat Clan, Leo felt like he wouldn't have been this furious.
Staring at Gu Demiao Ning's identity verification, Leo let out a mournful howl in his dorm room, nearly kicking his simple single bed to pieces.
The identity verification snapped him back to reality. It required facial recognition and personal terminal data, so it couldn't be faked.
The person on the other side really was a male Beastman.
The entire Dog Clan dorm building where Leo lived was filled with howls of anguish.
One by one, the Beastmen beat their chests and stamped their feet, seething with resentment.
Across the way, the Wolf Clan's dorm building was also filled with ceaseless wails.
"Impossible!!! How could she be a virtual character?! I just fell in love!"
"Bullshit!!!" Leo's other roommates were also howling and rolling around on their beds, unable to believe that the little female was a virtual character created by a male Beastman.
"It's too realistic! How could a newcomer have this kind of skill? Such a cute back and side profile!"
One roommate pounded the floor in agony. He had never fallen for a virtual character before. It wasn't just him; most of the Dog Clan were more pragmatic, at most watching a few interviews with female Beastmen.
"Leo, this is all your fault!"
The roommate from the bed opposite Leo's jumped onto his bed, grabbed him by the collar, and shook him violently. "Didn't you say she was a real female? A female from our Dog Clan!"
"And I fucking believed you! I even helped you charge into the fray and scheduled a fight with a Wolf Team for tomorrow! You can go fight them yourself!"
The other roommates, having found a target for their frustration, also surrounded him, ready to beat Leo to a pulp.
"How was I supposed to know she wasn't real!" Leo painfully tore at his hair. "Just you wait, I'm not done with him! I'm going to dox him right now."
"Are you trying to get yourself killed?" One of Leo's roommates smacked him. "Doxxing people is a violation of the network supervision regulations. Do you want to get exiled to the Death Swamp?"
Leo gritted his teeth. "Even if I don't dox him, I have other ways to bait him out."
BAM!
Their dorm room door was kicked open. "What's all the racket? If you don't want to sleep, then get your asses up and train. I guarantee you won't get any sleep tonight."
Seeing the Beastman standing at the door with his arms crossed, they instantly fell silent.
Leo bared his teeth. "What are you so smug about..."
"Leo!" a roommate whispered, tugging on his arm. "It's the patrol."
Leo shook him off. "You think I don't know who he is?"
"If I catch you one more time, you can all get your asses to the training grounds." The Wolf Clan Beastman slammed the door shut with another BAM!
"Why are they only busting our chops?" one roommate spat. "The other dorms are screaming even louder than we are."
"Yeah, seriously! Those wolves in the building across from us are howling their heads off. How come no one's shutting them up!"
The roommate who had tried to calm Leo down shot him a dark look. "Who's to blame for us losing patrol duty last week?"
With that, he lay back down on his bed and went back to miserably scrolling through the virtual female's videos.

Gu Ning spent two hours setting up her bedroom.
She and Cook arranged the bookshelf and desk, then neatly placed the mix of new and old books Barto had scrounged up. She spread a beautiful throw blanket over the desk and set out two potted plants that looked like succulents.
Once everything was mostly in place, she took out the beast ears she had made earlier and put them on. She let her hair down and wrapped a green shawl around herself.
The shawl reached her knees, so she didn't need to make any new clothes; the tank top she had on underneath was enough.
After taking a video of the entire scene to check and adjust the angles, Gu Ning officially began filming her new video.
She set up her terminal in a fixed position, walked into the frame, and sat down casually in a chair, leisurely opening a book.
After a few takes, she felt something was off. She thought for a moment, then wet her hair with some water to make it look like she had just gotten out of the shower.
She filmed it over and over a few more times. Once Gu Ning felt she had enough footage, she quickly edited the video.
It was another ten-second clip.
In the video, she casually picked a book from the shelf, sat down at the desk, and looked down to read it, idly brushing her damp hair aside a few times.
After editing, Gu Ning carefully blurred out some of her more distinct features in post-production. Once she had double-checked that everything was fine, she uploaded the video.
Before uploading, she wrote a title: "Just got out of the shower. What should I read to pass the time?"
After a moment of thought, she added a few custom tags: #DogClanFemale?, #WolfClanFemale?, #TakeAGuess?
It was already midnight, but plenty of Beastmen were still online. Tonight's trending topics were mostly focused on Gu Ning's previous video.
As soon as Gu Ning uploaded the new video, the Beastmen who were hanging out in her comments section saw it.
They just moved to a new battlefield and continued their tirade, even more viciously than on the last video.
Some Beastmen didn't even watch the video; they saw the custom tags Gu Ning had added and immediately started cussing her out in the comments.
In the eyes of the Wolf Clan and the Dog Clan, these tags were a blatant provocation.
'What the hell is this damn Gu Demiao Ning trying to do?! Is she trying to get herself killed?!'
In less than half an hour, Gu Ning's comment section already had over ten thousand comments. The Wolf and Dog Clans contributed nearly two-thirds of them, and the number was still doubling.
As for Gu Ning's private messages, a random click would reveal "eloquent" language that cursed everything about her, from head to toe, inside and out, from what she ate to what she shat.
Sometimes, the terminal's translation function would even lag, as if it was struggling to find the appropriate words to translate the messages.
Gu Ning didn't go to her account backend to read the comments, but to check the donations.
This time, the donations were pitifully few compared to the last video. It had been up for nearly an hour, and she hadn't even received 10,000 Beast Coins.
