Even if this wasn't about Gu Ning, they were probably going to make an issue out of her.
They had a Mimic Mixed Species that could help mask Gu Ning's scent, so she couldn't risk being exposed to them.
Gu Ning sized Barto up. "How? Are you going to do it?"
Seeing the alarm on her face, Barto felt a pang of displeasure. "How else? I'll do what Cook did to mask your scent. Take off your jacket."
Gu Ning said, "...I didn't take my clothes off for Cook."
Cook just licked her face and hands, rubbing his scent on her.
Barto glanced out the window, then simply started pulling off Gu Ning's thick jacket. "You think Cook is really that innocent?"
'He didn't want to tell her how that guy would often lift her clothes while she was sound asleep, licking here and there. His movements were always sly and incredibly light, terrified of waking her.'
