"H%&CK NO!! I'm getting out of here!" Lucas shouted, his whole body jumped out of his chair, his eyes never leaving the window...
Luckily, Elizabeth quickly grabbed him, pushing him back down with a shocked expression as she shouted at him, "Are you stupid?! Where exactly are you going?!"
Emma watches them with a shaking body, her eyes never leaving the man whose yellow teeth are almost showing from the intensity of his enjoyment. He seems to have noticed their tension, and he has FUN. He bangs on the truck door back and forth as he circles around it. The sound of him banging on his truck is the only thing the three of them hear above the sound of the customers around them before he gets in and disappears... from their sight.
"Where did he go?!" Emma asks, clutching a fork in front of her out of extreme tension. Lucas, who finally sat down despite also looking choked, continues, "He must be trying to trick us into going out."
"Yes, this is very strange,"
Elizabeth remarks, looking around in the hope that someone else might have noticed, but no one else seems to have. Now, they looked like the crazy one.
Emma whispers, "I can't take any more of this!! I'm going to call the police!!" As she searches for her phone, the sound of her ragged breathing increasing with each passing second...
But Lucas suddenly stops her, grabbing her hand tightly. "Shhh."
His eyes are almost popping out of their sockets. He seems to be trying to signal something to them. Indeed, the two of them slowly look behind them...
One of Frederick's men is sitting close to them, leaning his face and tapping his finger on the table , his gaze pierces their insides... slowly, leaving them frozen in place.
"SH&^T!!" She gasps, her heart nearly bursting out of her chest. She put the phone back in her pocket and continued, her eyes almost filling with tears, "What are we going to do?!"
"Let's just try to pretend we didn't notice," Elizabeth muttered to both of them, but a very quiet voice came from their side. It was a waitress with calm features, standing in front of their table with a worried expression, leaning towards them and saying, "Is there something wrong? You haven't touched your plate yet, kids." As if luck smiled on them only to disappear in the same second as soon as she approached them, her features changed to a wide smile and in a sharp voice she said, "Everything's fine, isn't it?"
Her coldness, like a sword that has already fallen on their heads, wraps around their necks as soon as this waitress calmly places both hands on the backs of their chairs, her eyes transforming before them from complete innocence to something soulless. Lucas has already begun to feel a loss of control. He stands up with wide eyes and sweat pouring down his forehead, saying, "No!! Everything is fine... isn't it, girls? We were going out now."
Elizabeth and Emma immediately agree, and so they follow him. Strangely, the waitress doesn't follow but simply stands upright watching them. Elizabeth mutters, "She's not even following us!" looking behind her.
The three of them then hurry out of the restaurant, ignoring the shouts of one of the young waitresses who really seems to work at this restaurant, saying in complete bewilderment:
"Wait, guys!!, where are you going? You haven't eaten yet!!" She glances at the strange woman standing there and continues, "Are you a new waitress? I've never seen you before." She notices that one of the table utensils is missing.
"Kids these days think everything is free, don't they?" she remarks, only to receive a shoulder shove from the woman who ignores her and walks towards the exit door....
" DA&*N she's following us!!" Emma shouts as she runs, followed by Lucas, who curses under his breath, "I shouldn't have listened to my stomach in the first place and followed you."
"Just let's get out of this alley!!" Elizabeth shouts after them.
The alley barely seems to be ending. The smell of garbage permeates the place, and the sound of footsteps behind them increases. It seems that their nightmare is beginning to come true.
Like small mice, their feet pound the wet ground, their breaths coming in gasps to escape this hell, their eyes looking back... It is darkness that begins to spread with a sudden, disturbing whistling sound...
"Here's the main street!! Run, run!" the young girl stammered, her steps swaying as she tried not to stop... laughter grew louder around them.
And only when light finally strikes, a THICK hand comes from the darkness, grabbing Lucas by the HAIR...
"Get away, you ^$&%, leave me alone!" he curses, shouting, but it's too late. He has already started to rise off the ground, revealing a huge, well-built man behind him.
Emma and Elizabeth scream to stop at the scene in front of them. It's the same one-eyed man... He smiles at them, saying, "Hello again."
"Leave him alone, leave him alone, you madman!" Emma cries as she tries to pull Lucas away from his hand. The man laughs and, without thinking much, bangs Lucas's head against the wall repeatedly until he just lose consciousness in front of them. His blood flows as he utters incomprehensible words in a pitiful state.
Emma falls onto her back, screaming, her voice almost breaking. Tears stream down her face. "Please, let him go! Let him go!" Elizabeth, on the opposite side, tries to pull her away, her body trembling even more. "We have to get out of here!" But it's too late. Huge bodies block their path behind them, and before they can scream any louder, hands from all sides grab them and cover their mouths. Slowly, all three are dragged away. "Let us go! Let us go, you *$&%!" the young girl screams. But no matter how hard they both try to kick and bite, they are met with a brutal beating. All three lose consciousness as her phone rings.... It's Isabella. That's the last thing she remembers before a strange-eyed man steps on the phone to pick her up.
