Nina Donovan waited for about two minutes, but no one came to the door.
'Huh? Is he not home?'
Nina raised her hand and knocked again. "Jasper Sherwood, Jasper Sherwood, are you home?"
The next second, the door was flung open, and the person inside grabbed her wrist.
Jasper Sherwood, his black hair a mess, looked more resentful than a ghost. "Do you hate me this much? If you want me to drop dead from exhaustion, you won't have to pay back that hundred thousand, right?"
Seeing the two glaringly dark circles under his eyes, Nina felt a pang of guilt. "No... I came to see you about something."
Jasper let her go, giving her a meaningful look. "If you have something to say, come in. I don't have time to listen to you ramble at the door."
He yawned and turned to walk inside.
Nina: "..."
She really didn't want to go in, but she needed something from Jasper, so she followed him, keeping a safe distance.
