"I'm so sorry, we're a bit busy today, so the orders are coming out slowly. It'll be right out! The chef is just putting on the finishing touches. I'll get you a to-go box right now."
The clerk at the front desk looked a little embarrassed. She had noticed the man had been sitting there for twenty minutes, clearly waiting for someone. He hadn't rushed them once, so she was surprised the woman wanted to leave the moment she arrived.
"Please hurry. We have somewhere to be."
Yun Zijin looked at the clerk and said calmly.
"I'll go hurry them up for you."
With that, the clerk walked into the kitchen and came back a moment later with an order of mochi.
"Here's the mochi you ordered. I'll pack it up for you now.
We're a bit busy today, so I'm sorry for making you wait so long. These are some cookies our chef made in-house. Please take them as our treat."
The clerk packed the mochi, then took a box of cookies from the counter and placed it in a small bag as a small token of apology.
