"Extreme hate detected." something deep within Shen Xiatang whispered and Shen Xiatang's eyes snapped open.
Hearing footsteps, Shen Xiatang immediately began to yell "Min Shuang!, Min Shuang!" but it was already too late, Min Shuang's door was pushed open and the moon light from outside flooded the room.
"Drag her!" Min Hanying commanded and Min Shuang was dragged down from her bed.
Grabbing Min Shuang by her arms, the maids knelt Min Shuang forcefully before Min Hanying who was seated on a wooden chair with a new personal maid beside her.
"Do you think that you could make a move against me and I wouldn't notice?" Min Hanying asked as she looked down at Min Shuang with a sneer.
"Have we been caught?" Min Shuang thought in fear.
"No, there is no way. She is just trying to scare me." thought Min Shuang.
"I didn't-" Min Shuang tried to say but Min Hanying slapped her so hard that her neck snapped in the opposite direction.
"You didn't?" Min Hanying asked with a cruel smile.
"Fine, since you missed the wooden basin so much," Min Hanying said with a nod of her head.
"Anyone there, fill a wooden basin with water and bring it here." Min Hanying said and the new personal maid beside her rushed to complete Min Hanying's order.
"Sister," Min Shuang said pleadingly.
"I have done nothing wrong. Why are you doing this to to me?" Min Shuang asked in a pleading tone.
"Still refuse to say the truth." Min Hanying said with a venemous smile as the wooden basin was brought over.
"Put her head in!" Min Hanying commanded.
"No!" Min Shuang yelled in panic.
"I didn't do anything!, I didn't do anything!." Min Shuang yelled like a crazy person and beyond the door of her living quarters a voice sounded.
"The Crown Prince has arrived." yelled and Eunuch and everyone froze momentarily.
Getting up quickly, Min Hanying said "Drop Min Shuang on the chair" and the maids performed her order just a second before the doors were opened and the Crown Prince walked in.
"Min Hanying, what are you doing here?" The Crown Prince asked in surprise.
"There is no bad blood between I and sister anymore so I came over to wash her feet." Min Hanying said in a soft tone and without looking at Min Shuang face and taking in the situation around him the Crown Prince smiled at Min Hanying like a blind fool.
"As always my Min Hanying is always sensible." The Crown Prince said as he pulled Min Hanying to his side and pecked her forehead.
"Husband," Min Hanying said bashfully.
"There are people here." Min Hanying said as she blushed softly and Li Haoran temporarily snapped out of his daze.
Coughing slightly, the Crown Prince said "The clothes of the ancestral rites have been sent over by order of the Emperor." and a maid brought in a wooden box to Min Shuang's room.
"As the principal wife, your huiyi was specifically chosen by the Empress so make sure nothing happens to it." said the Crown Prince.
"I will send a letter of thanks to the Empress." Min Shuang said as she stood up from her seat and bowed deeply.
"Good." Li Haoran said before walking away with Min Hanying at his side.
As everyone emptied out in the room both Shen Xiatang and Min Shuang let out a sigh of relief.
"How did she know?" Min Shuang asked Shen Xiatang.
"You told me that she wouldn't notice." Min Shuang said in fear.
"Calm down!" Shen Xiatang ordered Min Shuang.
"Calm down?" Min Shuang asked slowly.
"This concerns my life and you are telling me to calm down?" Min Shuang whisper yelled.
"Don't you think that the normally calm and ruthless Min Hanying looked abit troubled today?" Shen Xiatang asked and Min Shuang paused.
"She barged in here but this time, way before midnight when the Crown Prince would be asleep. Why do you think that is?" Shen Xiatang asked and a look of confusion fell upon Min Shuang's face.
"Yes," Min Shuang nodded in agreement.
"Min Hanying is always so careful." Min Shuang said in a contemplative tone.
"She doesn't know what you did if not she would have said as much when she tried to torture you." said Shen Xiatang.
"If anything she came in here to get you to confess." Shen Xiatang said as a thought began to form in her head.
"Min Shuang," Shen Xiatang said as her eyes met Min Shuang's.
"Have you ever noticed something wrong with Min Hanying?" Shen Xiatang asked slowly.
"All sorts of things are wrong with her!" Min Shuang exclaimed before taking a second to think.
"The first time I felt there was something wrong with Min Hanying was the second time she framed me." said Min Shuang.
"The first time she framed me everything happened to fast so I didn't take not if anything but the second time she framed me I realized that she always seemed to know when the Crown Prince would show up." Min Shuang said and Shen Xiatang looked at her in shock.
"But that doesn't make any sense right?" Min Shuang asked with a laugh.
"I mean just now, she didn't seem to know that the Crown Prince would arrive." Min Shuang said with a self depreciating chuckle.
"That's because she was focused on you." Shen Xiatang said abruptly and Min Hanying looked at the direction of her voice in confusion.
"Ever since I got here, Min Hanying has always rubbed me the wrong way but I always thought it was because she was too cunning." Shen Xiatang said and Min Shuang nodded along.
"But with what just happened, I believe Min Hanying can see some certain things about the people around her." said Shen Xiatang.
"I don't follow." Min Shuang said in confusion.
"She could always tell when the Crown Prince would come because she could see it and she could also tell that you had done something but the reason why she is so on edge and tried to get you to confess is because she knows that you had help but she doesn't know who helped you." said Shen Xiatang.
