He glanced at the searchlight. The beam had been so bright before that it must have caused some refraction, making the cave flash with red light for a moment.
He bent down and sifted through the rubble to find the stone from before. Holding the bright red part under the searchlight, he observed it carefully. Sure enough, it was a dazzling red, just like blood. The base was also remarkably translucent.
'This isn't a ruby. It must be Chicken Blood Stone.'
