The three of them stood by the roadside, nibbling on apricots, as Qiu Mengze recounted what happened during the test.
"You wouldn't believe it. Someone just hit a pole, and the whole back end of the car got caved in..." Qiu Mengze said.
"Lin Ruoxi and I are heading out of town later. You should schedule your Subject 4 test with the driving school yourself, don't wait for us," Xue Rui said.
"Everyone I brought for the Subject 2 test passed today." Coach Li was grinning from ear to ear. He handed each of them a bottle of water.
"Thanks." Qiu Mengze was pleasantly surprised. Usually, he was the one buying Coach Li water; he never expected the coach to return the favor.
