Based on her observations, Christa was clearly a Wizard of high birth, exuding an annoying arrogance in her interactions with them.
"I suppose so," Christa said with a simple nod. She then ignored Oshana and turned to Teresa. "What do we need to do next?"
"Yes, Teresa," Adolph said, waving his tentacles. "Should I go get some materials from my advisor?"
"Not right now. We'll discuss it after I've met with Dean Josue. However,"
Teresa pushed up her gold-rimmed glasses, pondered for a few seconds, and continued, "Given the importance of this research project, I've decided that for the foreseeable future, none of us should leave the institute unless it's absolutely necessary. What do you all think?"
"Of course. With an institute this nice, you couldn't drag me away," Oshana said, chuckling and covering her mouth. She shot Christa a suspicious glance, sensing that something about her was off.
"Agreed..."
