Chapter 310 - Chapter 233: Flood and Ferocious Beasts

These poor souls only knew that something big was happening. Otherwise, their lord, the Baron, would never have dispatched so many soldiers to garrison Kalia.

But they never expected an army to attack them, so they were utterly bewildered when the castle was breached. They immediately began to tremble, kneeling to surrender and praying that this band of soldiers from who-knows-where would spare their lives.

Levi had no interest in bullying a few unarmed commoners. He gave them some rations and told them to take their belongings, leave the castle, and find a new place to live.

Then, the Beastman Barbarians began to turn the castle upside down, searching for any spoils of war.

Soon, the Barbarians had moved everything they found to the castle's great hall.

There were fine swords, portraits, and all sorts of other things piled high in an empty space in the hall.

One of the Barbarians carried over an exquisite wooden box, about the size of a man's head, and placed it on the table.
