"Alright now, why are you staring at me so blankly? You look like a lizard." He gently patted her head.
"A lizard? How do I look like a lizard? You're just making that up," Aria Sterling said, pouting.
"You do. Like a bright green frilled lizard. How about I peel your skin off and make a mask out of it?"
Aria Sterling quickly covered her face with her hands, peering at Damian Xavier fearfully through a narrow slit between her fingers.
"My skin is terrible quality! It's not elastic or shiny at all. It would be completely useless if you peeled it off."
Damian Xavier stepped forward, pulled her hands away, and gave her cheek a doting pinch. "Is that so? It feels pretty good to me."
"Do you know what's best for your skin?" Damian Xavier teased.
A blush involuntarily spread across Aria Sterling's cheeks. It wasn't clear if she was blushing out of shyness.
"What is it?" she asked curiously.
