Damian Xavier thought she would ask something more probing. He hadn't realized Aria Sterling truly didn't understand him at all. Still, there was no harm in telling her now, so he replied, "That? Well, that's because I became the school's sponsor."
Hearing Damian's explanation, it all suddenly clicked for Aria Sterling.
'No wonder,' Aria thought. 'In the past, none of the principals or teachers liked Damian, but today they were all so polite to me. I guess you really can't afford to offend a sponsor.'
Aria Sterling thought it over and found it more and more amusing. 'So, the principal finally has someone he's afraid of, and of all people, it's Damian Xavier.'
But that just left Aria Sterling even more confused. 'It's not like I'm going to run away, so why did Damian feel the need to come to my school? Besides, becoming a sponsor must have cost a fortune.'
