Aria Sterling was taken aback. The words "I'm here" made her feel a little shy.
But she had to admit, she instantly felt relieved.
"I'll go in alone in a moment," she said after a pause, looking up at Damian Xavier. "I want to handle my family's affairs myself."
Holding her hand, Damian Xavier remained silent for a long moment before finally speaking. "Alright. I'll be downstairs. Call me if you need anything."
He knew she was stubborn and strong-willed. Even though he wanted to solve all her problems for her, she would never allow it.
The fact that she had agreed to rest and recover at home for the past few days was already a compromise on her part.
The car pulled up to the company building. Aria Sterling took a moment to brace herself before stepping out and walking into the company with heavy steps.
