Mya Walsh and Chloe Kane rushed over. Just as they reached the emergency room entrance, they saw a drenched Damian Xavier.
"Damian, what happened to you?" Mya Walsh cried out, startled.
Her heart ached for him, and she quickly took out a tissue to wipe his face.
"Get away from me!" Damian Xavier roared, staring daggers at her. "Don't let me find out you had anything to do with this."
"Damian, what are you talking about? What does this have to do with me?"
Frightened by his icy gaze, Mya Walsh took a step back and looked at Chloe Kane, aggrieved.
"Damian, have you lost your mind?"
"Mya heard you were in trouble and rushed me over here. She was just trying to help, so why are you taking it out on her?"
"You'd better pray she had nothing to do with this," Damian Xavier said coldly.
Chloe Kane shot her son a glare, then pulled Mya Walsh to her side and comforted her softly, "Mya, don't take it to heart. That's just his foul temper."
