Damian Xavier frowned.
'Could she really be sleepwalking?'
He lay on the bed, holding Aria Sterling in his arms, and gently squeezed her cheek with his right hand.
Drowsy and on the verge of sleep, she swatted his hand away impatiently. This, however, only amused him. He leaned down and kissed her flushed lips.
Before long, Aria Sterling couldn't take it anymore and whimpered softly. Damian Xavier immediately stopped, looking helplessly at Aria, who had already drifted off to sleep.
'Looks like I won't be getting a taste of her tonight.'
Though he felt a twinge of regret, gazing at her sleeping face filled his heart with a comforting warmth.
Damian Xavier's eyes filled with a tenderness he himself wasn't aware of as he gently held her in his arms.
「A night of peaceful sleep.」
The morning sun cast its rays on the two sleeping figures, bathing them in a comfortable, gentle warmth.
